The ones on back aren't pretty but I was able to hide the knots on front ones "behind" the first section. See how that goes; or else I will just remove them and leave the little holes.

Looks good! I did the same but instead of knotting, I looped through and glued the both ends to form a link/circle.

Save the fringes, I used my to add on my Rogue Satchel as zipper pulls and embellished a keychain with them. (I have the oxblood saddle one which is the same color as my satchel).

Now that I'm imagining how I can play with the extra, I may have the nerve to de-fringe! Thank you [emoji846]

It sure does. Maybe they are redesigning it to remove that silly snap tab piece and to add a back exterior slip pocket that'll fit a larger phone... I can dream can't I?

In fact, if they made those changes to the 23 as well, I might have to own one in every color... Kind of like a dinky 24/saddle 23 hybrid. Normal adjustable strap, outer back full length slip pocket, secure closure. You know, the ones they made for department stores, just 1941 shape and lining.

Outlet @ Desert Hills, CA, has Saddle Bag 23s in Bordeaux, Chalk, Flax, Dark Gray, Olive, Purple, Peony, Patchwork, Black Tea Rose (with blue and purple flowers), Floral Calf Hair (pink, tiny flowers), Oxblood with fringes, Chalk with fringes...and then the larger size with the zip pocket on the backside, Navy with fringe, Oxblood with fringe, and Chalk with fringe. All were 60% off yesterday. :biggrin:
