Your pics pushed me over the edge to order this through the Saks sale. How short can you make the strap? Is it comfortable as a shoulder bag at its shortest or is it still too long? Thank you!

I won't be able to keep both so I'll have to make a tough decision when they arrive but I'm so excited! I'll post lots of pics! 
I bought the oxblood from Saks, and I'm now considering buying the mineral from Coach during friends and family. I love the oxblood one but will only carry it fall/winter. I'd probably carry mineral all year and rotate with my chalk one. I just love that purse so much...the leather smell, the weight of the leather, the whip stitch detailing. Congrats, and you were asking about the strap, well it can be doubled to make it shorter on the shoulder. Do you like the mineral one better than oxblood? I have the oxblood one and love it because I really wanted a purse in that color, but I'm also thinking about getting mineral.

LOL I just ordered mineral for the PCE to go with my oxblood. Oxblood whiplash quickly became one of my favorite bags, and I wanted to jump on that mineral one with 30% off before it goes away. That shade of blue-green is amazing. We'll be twins!
At first I was a little bummed that oxblood read more brown than red, but now I really love it. It's almost a purplish-brown in some lighting. It's unique and gorgeous!
I haven't carried my oxblood one yet, but I love the color and will get plenty of use out of it. I also love my chalk one, and I just ordered the mineral for PCE after I read your posting because I definitely don't want to miss out. I was able to get one factory wrapped, so I'm excited. I'll have it Monday as she can't ring it up until Friday. It's odd that the regular saddle bags are excluded, maybe inventory is real low on those.
Did you leave your fringes on? I left them on.
