I am starting to think the medium is too small as well, and I think I'm going to return it for the large version, but I'm concerned it'll be too big. Have you already purchased the medium one? I spoke to a SA who said one of her male associates carries the larger one and that it reminds her of the size of a briefcase only in a different shape, she said it's as large as one. She's supposed to email me a comparison shot tomorrow because he's off today. She said she felt the medium was the perfect size, but I'm not so sure about that. I need more room. She also said Coach is bringing out a lot of new bags in January for their anniversary, but there are also two new bags that will bee included in the floor set tomorrow. I think she said one is called the Prairie Satchel in glove tanned leather. I think that was the style.
I have only carried the 35 twice; think it was slouch a bit with use, but not excessively. Kind of reminds me of the Nomad hobo that way. It all depends on your size preference; I'm 5'3" myself and don't think the large is too big on me at all.
The medium looked great on but it was aa strain to put all my items in the bag because it is too shallow. Five inches deep would have been great. I ordered the large sight unseen and it arrived last night. I think it looks big because is is so tall because 13.5W and 4.25D isn't a huge bag.If the top slouches down a bit it would look better on my short frame.
After I only saw limited colors in the saddle bag style no 37200 (medium) I called JAX and was told that they only released three colors in the medium and that Saddle bag 35 (the largest one) will not be released until February. She said she has no idea why, but they were surprised that any of them were being sold before February. Maybe I'll just keep my medium saddle bag in tabac/carmine that somehow managed to sneak out the warehouse a couple weeks ago. I was really debating exchanging it for the largest one. Oh well. Those of you who have the large saddle bag, can you provide some feedback/honest reviews? It's seems that most people who have it don't feel it's too big. I really wish the regular/medium size was 4 1/4 (w) like the large one or at least 4 (w).
I like large bags, so I like the large saddle. I knew the medium would be too small for me. I'm going to try to post some comparison shots of the large saddle with the extra large Edie and maybe the colorblock rhyder or one of my Coach totes so you can determine the size better.

This is large saddlebag? Both bags I love....but not quite as much as that cute little doggy behind!!!
