I did the same thing - called last week. However - I didn't go into the store until Monday. The system showed 27 left in my color (and I was going to order another color as well) when my SA tried to place the order, the system kicked it out. She called JAX and they told her the event was over - no more could be sold until the spring release. As I said thought , they would exchange the defective one. The only stores that got them were Rodeo Dr in Beverly Hills & New York. She called Rodeo Dr - they told her the same thing - she could send them mine , they would send her a new one . They couldn't send another color - telling her the same thing JAX did. I would think theirs are being returned to distribution.Ty for info on the system not allowing orders cause I was going to order through JAX. I called a store last week inquiring about ordering another color. I was checking to see what colors were left and if I could order should I decide. SA I spoke with told me that they could still get me one. I wonder if stores had to send back their inventory? If the store still has them, maybe that's how they could fulfill the order?
I would do it through your SA to let them ship it back. Also, don't tell them you used Apple - I've heard they can void the warrenty if you use anything other than coach products.
