Hi all - forgive me if this was asked and answered...I flipped through the pages of this particular thread and didn't see it...here's my question...

Have the actual dimensions for the three sizes been posted anywhere? I'm considering the small but I need to be able to visualize it to figure out whether what I typically carry will work with the small.

Any info would be appreciated, as always! Thanks much!
 
After getting this monogram, I'm slightly worried that the color will crack? What do you all think?

I asked about monogramming in my boutique. The person that does most of the monogramming happened to be in earshot,so she came over to explain what's going on. They're waiting for new machines - bigger ones, so they can do bigger pieces. The one they have now is primarily for hang tags or small leather goods. New colors are coming as well (and they suggest giving you the option to use different contrasting colors, ie, not the same as the lining color - make it unique).

As to how it will wear - she said they put a sealant over it in the process - so it shouldn't fade or crack for years. Provided they did it correctly.

Are you east coast? She said west coast has been slow in getting the new machines - so I may have to wait a couple months to get mine monogrammed[emoji30] They're hoping well before the holidays so they can offer this option on any bag - not just the Saddle Bag.
 
Supposedly this is their way of making their bags "customized" without having the whole ordering a completely customized bag online with your ideal colors like some companies do. There is also talk of being able to customize story patches in the future also. I would like to have a store nearby and get my hangtag monogrammed with very small lettering in the same black as my bag. Not very noticeable from afar, but classy close up.

I sure hope so! Thanks for the info. Yes I went to the Soho store in NYC to get the monogramming. I'm not so adventurous and went with the same color as my lining. Would love to see more pics of everyone else's monogramming. :smile1:
 
Has anyone encountered the stitching coming undone on their strap? I saw mine starting a tad at one point, I guess it was the end and I fixed it, but now there is a second spot where it is really noticable. Even though this is a fabulous bag I starting to question the quality and I haven't even had it 2 weeks. And if the purse gods didn't have enough with me, I was using some Apple cleaner on it and noticed that on the front flap there is a spot where it looked like the oxblood edgekote dripped onto it. It wasn't even noticable until I was cleaning it and now it is glaring and I hone in right to it!
 
I haven't used mine yet, but if I were you, I'd exchange it. I exchanged mine because they sent me the floor display one. You will probably have to jump through hoops to get a new one. They won't send you a new one until you return yours. I was willing to purchase a new one, (pay again) and then return mine - but the system won't let them sell one. Regardless, you're paying full price for a limited edition bag - and I'd want it to be perfect.
 
I was fortunate to get a good agent the first time on the phone. The second time, no way. She asked if there was a store near me, I said yes and she literally said "Take it back to them. They can deal with it". There was no sorry let us take care of that right now or anything. I was livid. I took it to the store after work and when it rains, it pours. There is some small tan fibers that are poking through all over the stitching on the bag. There are also edgekote on the black hardware on the inside edge and the very bottom near where the front pocket meets the body the edgekote is uneven to the point it is already starting to peel. The kind SA said she was sending it back to exchange for the same bag. I am really not a happy camper at the moment :censor: For this being a special bag to have these kind of quality issues is no bueno. I may have caught the edgekote mess if I had been really inspecting it when I first got it.
 
Finally getting a chance to post a pic. Joining with medium Bordeaux. Haven't had a chance to carry it but hopefully soon.

Sorry to hear about the issues with yours. Hopefully the next one comes in better condition. Agree it shouldn't have those issues.

Ty for info on the system not allowing orders cause I was going to order through JAX. I called a store last week inquiring about ordering another color. I was checking to see what colors were left and if I could order should I decide. SA I spoke with told me that they could still get me one. I wonder if stores had to send back their inventory? If the store still has them, maybe that's how they could fulfill the order?
