Ladies I need some serious help here. I have no idea what I want for Christmas. DH keeps asking me and I'm drawing a blank. I don't want to say a purse because still on fence about few things. Im open to any suggestions.
I had a hard time coming up with a list too!

Hmmm....things other than clothes & jewelry:
• Maybe it's time to add to your accessories. Ask for a basket of goodies: A Hermes scarf? Mink earmuffs? Fox trimmed gloves?
• Are you into electronics? A new laptop? A new audio system for your house?
• Something to trick out your car? New wheels? Other?
• Some luxury at home experiences. Have estheticians come to your home to give you a beauty day - massage, facials, nails, hair? A month of a private chef? A car and driver for weekends?
• Plastic surgery or cosmetic treatments? Breast aug or reduction? Permanent eye makeup?
• Bucket List experiences: skydiving classes? pilot classes? a week in a yurt?

. ms p,

Thanks for suggestion but it needs to be actual gift. We never give each other gift cards because why spend money and still not have anything and be confined to spending at designated store. We'd rather keep our coins and just swipe the Amex when we find something we want. His swiping has to be monitored though . We are suppose to go shopping agin on Friday hopefully something comes up by then.
I 100% agree! I despise giving or receiving gift certificates. Why tie up money and give me a piece of paper / card? It makes me feel like I wasn't really considered. Either put thought into what I want and give me a real gift or just let me get things for myself.

Slight dilemma here! Wanted to use the new tote today and took the stuffing out but the bag is super soft and feels like it could be easily damaged. I think the leather must be super thin. It weighs a 1lb 4oz. Light weight is good but not sure if it will work as a carefree bag.
Oh no! It's such a good looking bag and I know you were excited about it. Can you go on the Coach forum to see if others have found it to be a leather hen damages easily? It may be more resilient then you think. <fingers crossed>

I do not know whether we are speaking of the same size, but I bought a Ferragamo Sofia Medium as a smaller than usual bag and it turned out to be very roomy! It fits a lot, only regular sized paper is getting crumpled...

How can you decide that your bags will be in medium or small-medium size? I feel I need to have bags in diffrent size (max 4 per criteria) to fulfil different needs.

Hm, my rule of thumb when buying bags are:
1. I dont have more than 4 in that size category
2. No inside divider
3. Secured closing (made exemption only for LV Noe)
4. Preferably with back pocket for easy access to phone

I only like certain brands, and especially only like certain models. For example I have balenciaga moto in part time, first, city, and thinking to buy red small city next year. Am quite boring, I guess.

By end 2016, my bag count is 19, including party clutch and 'lunchbag', but excluding 2 longchamps and fabric bags. It used to be 20, but I rehomed my Longchamp Cuir this morning following one of the question (sparkletastic?) in this thread or the 2017 thread.

My problem is I am sorely lack in medium bag category (ca. speedy 30 size). I thought Sofia Ferragamo small is in that category but turns out smaller. Any idea what other bag is in that category?

Let me share something else: Today, I left for a week at my parents' house. I will spend Christmas with them and meet some friends from old times. I told my BF, I would pack about 3 bags. Turned out, I only packed one! [emoji15] It seemed that my caramel Peekaboo would go with all the selected outfits and boots. Weather should be fine. Just in case, I also brought a large LC Le Pliage in black - it is filled with books etc. but can easily be emptied out. I am still surprised... Feels risky concentrating on one bag, on the other hand, bags are safer at home than traveling. Good news is, I seem to have selected a really versatile bag! And: there will still be occasions where my other bags will come in handy, no jealousy [emoji6]

A caramel Peekaboo sounds divine and I can absolutely see how it would go with a number of outfits. Have fun!!!

Do others in the Coach forum say it's delicate? It may just be soft.

But if there's any hesitation which will cause you to not use it, return ASAP.

How does one play this? I am wondering if it is what we do at my inlaws. We each bring a new gift valued at the same amount. Then you pick numbers. First picks a package then second person can steal that gift or pick a package from the pile and so on.
Yes that sounds right! Usually you can "steal" the gift from others instead of taking from the pile too. E.g if I'm 3rd to pick a gift, but I like the gift #1 got, I can steal it from him/her instead of picking from the pile.
Can I ask what wallet do u use? How mini or small is your bag? I use LV Sarah as my wallet. My gf commented it's too long. Many mini bags are off my list due to Sarah
I use the Dior envolee wallet and I love it :) my smallest would be Chanel mini, my mini lady dior is also quite tiny.

your peekaboo sounds so lovely! Enjoy your trip :)
Well, I took my black patent Chanel Jumbo out today and it worked! I'm keeping her. I have on jeans (too cold for my usual dresses), black boots and a black and grey sweater. The patent is the perfect monochromatic pop to spice up my outfit. Plus the patent is completely carefree in winter weather.
Glad to hear you still like it and have a use for it, it's a very pretty bag!

Spark,

Your ideas were amazing and so funny...You know I wish we could afford a private chef as I hate to cook. Surgery is always good but painful. No seriously I want something tangible just for me. I am tech nerd but I don't want anything like that for Christmas. I hate to admit it but it seems that there's nothing I want. I dread to admit this to DH as it goes against the girl code-never let any man getting comfortable and treating you like a holiday is no big deal. I have got to figure it out ASAP

Glad to hear it's working for you, spark. The outfit sounds perfect for cold weather... I can definitely see a black patent bag with jeans.

Do you absolutely love it or do you feel that bag is just ok. If you love What about adding it to your serious count vs your carefree.

I liked it ,but not love. It was very pretty for a tote but it truly felt very delicate. Dh already dropped it off at the post office. It does not make sense for me to have another delicate bag . If I was going for a more delicate bag it would be something else. There was no info in the coach section when I initially asked about it. It will be the right bag for someone as it is a good size but it also had a black interior which would make things hard to find.

Yep. You have to figure something out. Letting our menfolk get comfortable about gift giving isn't an option. I'd have to snatch your girl card.
