Yes, the other bag was a kind of saffiano. I prefer pebbled leather. I'm glad you are going to post the challenge . I know I've wanted it, it's on my unicorn list, it's at a great price and I can afford it. I also know I'll use it. I'm trying to let some time pass though to make sure it's the right thing to do. I was going to post both challenges (that and the 3 in 30 challenge) in in the 2017 thread.
I'm not a fan of "kind of saffiano" at all. I only like Prada Saffiano and having 3 of those I don't even want any more of it. I'll be soooo glad when this trend I over and we can go back to great traditional leathers like pebbled, saddle, etc. This is one reason it's hard for me to buy contemporary right now. Too many bags are Sorta-Saffiano and not just good, quality leather with indestructible construction.
I don't know what my December tally will be yet. I counted last month the ones dh is giving me because I picked them. Everyone in my family knows I love bags so I guess I will see on the big day. You are not alone.

It will happily replace my worn out MK mini Hamiton as my small run around bag. This is my first LV bag but I don't think it will be my last.

One of my super hard to find / unicorn / jackalope almost holy grail bags is available for less than I've seen at any time. I had told myself that if I ever found it I was buying ban or no ban. But I really don't want to buy another bag right now!
But, honestly, I may never see this bag again.

Can't wait to see your tote too!! As you know, I am also not a fan of saffiano/crosshatch leather. Btw, once I ordered a Furla tote in crosshatched leather for a friend. I was really not pleased when I got it. Good thing my friend liked it. My 2 Furla totes now are non-crosshatch.
I'm in for the 15 in 31 in January! As I mentioned a few days ago, I'm actually silently doing it this December since I set up my list. I'm in bag 13 to date!! I realized that when I go to evening mass on Saturdays (not always, usually Sundays), I use 2 bags for that day. I change to a small bag for church.
They are not the stunning bags you get but they are the carefree bags I like and will use, at least I hope so.
