We've all been there. The let down isn't any fun. But, it's ok. Just remember this for next time so the memory can help you be strong and not purchase until you're sure the bag is a keeper. Can you return the bag?Confession I'm feeling regret now. The "high" and excitement is over. I put in my usual stuff and the bag feels heavy [emoji33] I'll probably sell it locally [emoji29] I need to remember the more I buy the more headache I'll face.
Thanks for the compliments, Elaine! Both of these are terrific purchases, spark. I bought my first LV bag last year, after resisting LV for years (never cared for monogrammed canvas, but my first bag was a leather Capucines). This year I bought my second leather LV bag because I was so impressed by the quality of my first bag. I think LV is one of those brands that people either love or hate. I've had very positive experiences in the San Francisco LV boutique; I have a lovely SA who takes very good care of me, and steers me toward bags that she thinks will shuit me (and she is NOT AT ALL pushy, thank heavens!).
Enjoy the LockMe... it's a glorious bag.
And the earrings are very classy... good for both daytime/professional and evening looks.![]()

And I agree, either you love or hate LV. My path to LV is like yours. I never liked the mono canvas and a lot of the leather goods have big LV's on them (like the bag I just bought LOL!) so I thought I hated the brand. I never even went into the store. Then I saw a black epi Alma and thought it was a gorgeous bag. And I found TPF. Those two events got me to look at the brand.
I found I love some of LV's non epi leather handbags. The quality is wonderful and the styles are classic. I REALLY love the Capucines and am seriously considering it for an upcoming purchase. I also like the steamer and a few others. LV will never be my "go to" brand. It's a little overexposed for that. But I will certainly cherry pick and cherish a few here and there!!
