Wow! Now, I'm more determine to change my kitchen sink habit.

I'm sure your house floor plan will be great. From what I've seen from your craft, you're very good at this kind of thing. And you seems to be very clear on what you want and not want. :)

And I'm glad to know you keep your favorites. Nothing is sadder than a lost love. ;)

I think once I have a house I'll be into house projects. Haha.
Though, I definitely will convert a room into a closet. handbag showcase!

Try it for a couple days, just carry the pure essentials to get through the day and see if it works for you. I didn't believe my doctor when she listed all the things that could be triggering my headaches. But she was right. haha.

ETA: So after talking to DBF about my wishlist, I've decided to search for the Herbag, as it's been on my list for over a year. If I cannot find the Herbag while in London, I can get the Capucines. But I can only buy one bag during the trip, and I'll have to be good until my birthday.

Bake the picture of a house I saved was just a pretty house style I liked not any particular house. If drawing one works for you that's good too. If you are not loving the petit H mail it back. I would sell everything you can that is not part of your bag collection. Do you have any jewelry, small leather goods, clothes, old dolls, anything you could sell to get s jump start?

Oh, I do like my petit h charm, so I'm keeping it. But the other surprises are too expensive so I've never bought them.
I'm currently editing my closet again, so clothes and shoes are going off to be sold.
I've also decided to let go of my paperback books as I've preferred the kindle app on my ipad/iphone. Also selling my few games left from PC and my Nintendo DS.
Last is my jewelry, SLGs, and handbags. Again, I doubt I'd be willing to pay the more expensive price to replace them later on, so I'm holding on to them. Especially since selling and costume jewelry bags doesn't yield much money back.

I doubt I'll even make a dent in my goal by selling my things, but at least money would be in savings. The real progress is going to come from my salary and overtime. DBF is really discouraging me selling my things though, so I'm a little conflicted.

If you have already downsized a lot . Perhaps selling is not much help. How about making monthly financial goals. Make sure they are truly doable. If you make it to high you will be disappointed and upset. It you make it a reasonable percentage and then when you exceed it from time to time you will feel fantastic.

Have your tastes for bags changed much in the last year or two? I know I used to buy bags that were very practical sturdy thick heavy leather because I wanted them to last a life time. Now I buy things that are still practical but pretty too. Also no really heavy bags anymore. How about you?

I am still in my Linea Pelle Eden bag. Got compliments on it yesterday, I think the scarf puts a little twist on it.

I think my taste in bags is still evolving, so yes there have been changes over the past year or 2, and I'm sure there will still be. I was purely a satchel girl before, but now I've embraced other styles though satchels remain my favorite. I didn't need the long strap option for satchels before, but now it's a must. Using mini bags is also one of the new developments for me. I also look for lighter weight bags now. I thought I want just classic bags, but there are times I realize I also need casual bags.

I think this is something I have to do more, but selling my things at least gives me funds for fun that won't take away from my savings.

I want classy, effortless bags that are light weight.

For love, nope, I'm still a satchel girl at heart, but for function, I've been using totes almost every day. And I still can't do hobos well haha. I've noticed that I am on the look out for more nylon options though, and sometimes sturdier canvas bags

Today's bag is my Dooney saffaino zip zip satchel . What are you using today?
love this. I think my haul of DB and cole haan bags last year really rounded off my collection for function and I think it's those bags that helped me to achieve my no buying goal this year. I have used all of them in heavy rotation.
