My October recap is
1 bag in, 0 bag out.
0 SLG in, 0 SLG out. :)

I got a reply on the house and we got it!!! :D The contract will be signed next week and hopefully the renovation and interior can start after that. I'm not looking for a total makeover. Just something like a tweak to make it match my liking. We still have my current condo for a current living. I'll have to go over this so many many times!!! I'm excited!!! :)

(Just thinking of moving the furniture get me nervous. I'll have to get over this.) :)
Many congrats!!!!
It is three inches not two. I normally am not a fan of still life's but I found this one unique.
that's cool, tnx for sharing!

I do the mini paintings more as an idea for a larger painting or just to play a bit without committing to much time to one.
Ooh these are great,I love your mini paintings!

Tnx for all your input. I'll see if I can find one to test out and decide then. I'll put my stuff in it too haha. Report back when I do!

Yeah, definitely try on, see if the material you want is durable coming from them. Also, if you can deal with the fiddlyness of the bag.

Sometimes you'll find it's not worth it or it is, like my love for the fiddly herbag.

Let us know how it goes!

Back to bags now. Pacolina we all have months that more come in then go out. The main thing we have discovered is that as long as we really use them it is not the end of the world. My problem was I not using them all , which has now changed. Congrats on your beautiful new bags.

It's not unusual for me to buy 3 bags in a month. It is unusual for me to spend $4K on 3 bags in a month! I bought the LV, the Mulberry, and this beauty from Pedro Garcia.

Size comparison with an 11" by 14" smaller painting. Ignore how they are hung on the wall. They are just stuck there till we paint the living room this week .

I like the feeling it gives off. Very calm and quiet.
BTW, I must be so sleepy last night I thought that frog was a mermaid! With my sleepy eyes, it does. The color on it is so dreamy.

Wow! I just know that you paint that frog by yourself. Is it oil color or water color? I mean it's dreamy it looks like a watercolor to me, but then again, I know nothing about art. :(

Your mini is not only cute, but beautiful.

Yes! Update us. :) putting stuff in is definitely a great idea. I heard that it'll bend and pull, but I've never seen one IRL that's stuff so much it does that so.... I agree that you really have to do that. Good luck! I hope you find the answer. :)

Cute bag! The leather seems durable. Do you plan to protect it with anything? I mean I wonder if the texture will attract dirt.

Thank you for the house wish. :)

Don't worry about the number. :) Sometimes, we buy a lot, sometimes, we buy none. You just have to love them and use them. ;)

This is one that you do not need the magnification. His landscapes and seascapes you need them so you can see the details of the people's clothing and the buildings or animals. This one I liked because I do not ever paint still life's and I could see it without magnifying it. I tend to paint landscapes and animals. The frog in the water in the second picture is one of mine. So we bought something that I would not want to paint myself if that makes sense.
Makes sense! His work and yours are beautiful!!

Do you always prefer SHW? Or is it because silver suits the design or color better?
I usually prefer matte GHW or brass, silver being my least favored. Though oxidised silver is absolutely gorgeous on cooler tone bags.
If I may chime in. Instinctively, I want matching metals - my bag hardware, belt buckle, shoe detail if any, and jewelry. But I admire ladies who could pull off mismatched metals. I'm also trying to overcome this matchy matchy thing because it limits my choices as well. I'm not comfortable but I try to tell myself that nobody cares if my metals are mismatched. :smile1:

Generally I prefer silver hardware since I regularly wear white gold jewelry. But there are just leather colors that would look better (at least to me) with gold or light gold hardware. For instance, I ordered my Nut Brown Massaccesi bag with light gold hardware. And then I had a grey with light gold hardware RM MAM, I was pleasantly surprised how well the colors blended.

Thank you so much for the photo! :) The leather looks so chewy in the photo. It's a very lovely bag. I think maybe the midi is a better size then. I'm only meaning for the generic magazine. Nothing special. I figure that magazine is the biggest book I usually tote around in my bag so if it fits the magazine, there shouldn't be any problem fitting in other type of books. :)

I'm very firm on the longer front flap. I just have to fill in all the compartments. :) I don't want a stiff leather so I don't think I'll get it in calf. I can deal with color, but not the stiff leather. Um.... Maybe he can source me the leather? You asked him to source you a special color, right? But if I get it in wine color, the HW will definitely be a light gold one. :)

The view is really great. :) I'll definitely share the photo. :) I'm not in a hurry to move in though. I still need to work on redecorate and do some adjustments to it first. Plus, I'll have to wait for the owner to move out and everything. So, very likely with all the holiday that may affect my contractor, I don't expect to be able to move in within this year. :( But at least, I know I've got it in my pocket. ;)

Please please please do the review of the Merino Soulmate. Even though I like the texture of the Pebble, Merino still get me curious. :)
I think you can ask Marco or Colette to recommend a leather for you. I told Marco I wanted cream/beige leather and voila, he offered a great one! Oh, and I just remembered now, I think somebody got a Wine lambskin leather for her Soulmate (??). Again that was a special order. I think wine with light gold will look really elegant!

I am excited for you too about your new house!!

I love this one!! I think you posted this before and I really loved the colors on it.

I think if I were in the US where there is a more active second hand bag market, I would be more in trouble. There are some bags I am excited to get, but after 2 or more uses, I'm done with it. :nogood:

I made a quick trip to the mall to pick up my package from the forwarder. It is my SLG purchase in October - preloved Marc Jacobs All In One Crossbody in taupe, actually more like a WOC. The left photo shows actual color better. The chair on the right photo is really green, but ever since they changed to LED lights in the office, it almost always photographs as blue. Btw, this clutch or woc or crossbody or whatever has leather interior lining.
