I agree. I only have two RMs--a hardwood MAC and a BBW MAM, and I'm keeping those two forever. Fantastic leather and really well designed. I miss the good old days of RM.

So today, I'm using the charm on my Latte City. I hid the tassle and the charm becomes the zipper pull.

So sweet of them. Looks lovely on your bal. Love the color. Question, is it easy to keep clean? Like color transfer? I used to have a light color bag and that was back in the day I didn't know about all that but nothing happened. Know I'm wiser, as well as paranoid. Hahah...I want to start using them shortly but would love advice.

Buying a purse organiser doesn't really count as spending money, does it? I was looking at Samorga liners this afternoon and contacted them- they are going to create a custom liner for my Cabas Chyc. Even better, I can get the liner in purple, to match the interior of the bag.

Good for you!! I need to hop on the same train, I have a couple bags I am scared to carry and I need to use them more. I did bring them out a couple times in last years thread but I need to keep doing it. This thread is so helpful for that :)

Lol packing up for the trip home, DBF and I have bought more than our bags can carry. Oops. Will have to get another suitcase for the souvenirs we picked up for ourselves and others. It's surprising how bulky the food is (everyone asked for cookies, tea, chocolate).

I probably shouldn't have gone shopping today. Haha. But that was prior to packing.

I heard buzzings that this was happening. It is so upsetting :( I love my two MAMs and always lusted after the BW lines. Black Cat with flu piping was another MAM and sage stamped so many past beauties!

Woohoo girl!!! Good for you! I hope today is better! I am definitely feeling the pain about added Christmas weight. I am headed back to the gym today after really slacking in December.

I am obsessed with the Laurel!! I really want to get one but I really want a color that I am lacking in my collection, navy or red hopefully, I have been eyeing the grey though too. It is a gorgeous bag! I am hoping they release some new colors :)

Beautiful charm and bag msd! That was nice of him (his wife) :) I have tried to use bag charms before but I just don't find they suit me. I always admire them on other peoples bags though. A great pairing :)

Does anyone here have a SLP Cabas Chyc? Do you use a purse organiser with it and if so, which one? Looking at mine, the base of the bag seems very unstructured. At the moment I have a piece of cardboard in there (very attractive!) but just wondering if I could find something that would give it a bit more structure and organise the contents at the same time. I haven't had chance to take photos of it yet, but it's this style and colour (photo from Purse Blog)

Beautiful bag! I have seen a lot of people make their own base shapers, with cardboard haha. They cut the cardboard to fit and then cover it with a fabric they like. Makes it a bit prettier.

Phew this thread moves so quickly! I think I am all caught up now :)


I was so excited to use my Borough yesterday for my first day back at work but when I went out to start my car, nothing happened... anyways, ended up needing a new battery and that is all over and done with now (thanks to my dear hubby) so I am at work today with my borough! Loving using and looking at her so far. I do remember on Megs "purseonals" blog post about this bag that she said one of the only downfalls of it was that it was to organized. As crazy as that sounded I completely agree with it haha. I am just so used to chucking everything into the pit of my bag so kind of organizing her was weird for me. But regardless, absolutely loving her :)

I have stuck with pouches because many of my purses are different sizes / dimensions. Does it matter or does an organizer that comfortably fits your smallest purse in rotation? I am just picturing an organizer that fits my Speedy (25 size) going sideways/items tumbling all over inside my Sukey or Mahina




Totally agree. I went really (really) ruthless last year & got rid of bags that were too similar to other bags I owned and liked better, not comfortable / dimensions didn't work / strap drop was awkward / etc. Now I actually use all of my purses & being extra mindful of what I own has made me a smarter shopper when I add something new. You can do it thedseer!

clevercat I also love purple! I have a purple Tory Burch crossbody that is always on / off my chopping block (weird size, corner wear is bugging me) & the color is a big reason why it's been so hard to say goodbye!

All my bags are various sizes as well. The organizer I have expands in length and in depth.
