I used coffee beans and baking soda. Seems odd but it worked. I put te coffee beans in a napkin so they don't touch the interior. Left them in for a week than did the baking soda to get last smells out. It worked for me.

I was so excited to use my Borough yesterday for my first day back at work but when I went out to start my car, nothing happened... anyways, ended up needing a new battery and that is all over and done with now (thanks to my dear hubby) so I am at work today with my borough! Loving using and looking at her so far. I do remember on Megs "purseonals" blog post about this bag that she said one of the only downfalls of it was that it was to organized. As crazy as that sounded I completely agree with it haha. I am just so used to chucking everything into the pit of my bag so kind of organizing her was weird for me. But regardless, absolutely loving her

I was so excited to use my Borough yesterday for my first day back at work but when I went out to start my car, nothing happened... anyways, ended up needing a new battery and that is all over and done with now (thanks to my dear hubby) so I am at work today with my borough! Oxblood sounds gorgeous!! Can't wait to see her in action! The pockets definitely take some getting used to. I am so far just using the middle zip pocket for my wallet and the slide pockets for the rest of my stuff.

I love this photo because this is what I think of when I think of the borough. It's so professional and grown up. I really love it. That was what worries me was the organization of it all. Not my style. Really love the bag though. It's been hard not to get one but I know I wouldn't use it as much as I should since I don't work in a corporate office anymore. My office is laid back.

maybe you could look at the mini one? They are so cute! But since they can be worn crossbody they don't seem as "dressy" to me, if that makes sense. Not to enable mind you haha. Thank you thedseer! The leather on this one is why I went for it over the other colors. It is gorgeous!

I'm still trying, to be honest! I've turned it inside out to air it out which has helped A LOT but I think I'm going to try the coffee beans / baking soda trick to tackle the rest
