This is from one of my friend's entries on livejournal. It's basically a list of questionaires that concerns what happened to you in 2006 and a bit of 2007. I think it'll be cool if the lovely members here can also do his/her own memes. I'm going to post the questionaires below ... I guess I'll start. 1.What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
I finally became financially responsible, and stood up to my SO for a change.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't take any since I know I would end up breaking them anyway ... and none for 2007 since I don't want to jinx myself
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No. *knocks on wood*
5. What countries did you visit?
Singapore, Hongkong. That's it. I wish I could've gone to more places, but 10 days a year and the fact that I have an SO who is in Asia did NOT help.
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
Happiness and success
7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Crap, I cannot remember the date that I got engaged?!!!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I'm finally out of debt after 9 years without any help from anyone or agencies - yeah, I'm feeling pretty good about that
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not having been able to get into the consulting industry
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
That old ankle injury from a snowboarding accident, the doctor said it'll never full heal.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
A ... bag.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
My SO. We got engaged, 'nuff said.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
My Mom.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Hermes *sigh*
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Eh ... the fact that I am starting to go back to my old, cynical, non-girlie, dark, brooding self? I think I lost myself somewhere when I started dating my SO, never liked being the stereotypical "girl".
16. What song will always remind you of 2006?
No idea ... I never paid attention to music for that purpose.

i. happier or sadder? Sadder.

Las Vegas with my family and my cousin.

I don't hate people, I just dislike them.

I'm starting to drift toward black ... and I think I'm actually going punk and goth now.

I don't care much for celebrities, socialites, or public figures, they've overrated. So none.

I stopped paying attention to politics earlier this year, it just pisses me off.
