The 227 was too overpowering on me, the 226 was perfect!

Same here. I love the dimensions of the 226. And it actually does look quite large, on me.

OH wow! See. I'm a 'small' person and I adored the large! LOL!
Good thing they make so many sizes!
I still am surprised about the price difference though.

^^^ A lot of it is down to personal taste, as always (though I have to say that the medium really is large and plenty edgy and oversized looking on me. But I am severely 'stick-y'). I do admire the larger sizes, though.

I agree with you, that the price diff. is really negligible. And, the size difference is only about an inch or so too -- but that inch seems to make all the difference.

PS It just occurred to me that maybe we should be distinguishing between reissues and other 2.55s?

$2285? That is the price of the jumbo reissue?? Wow...

I thought the jumbo was in the $2400 range.
