You should try the Hermes or Chanel forums...those can have quite some action going!! As long as it doesn't make me pull out my credit card as well haha
Omg, one of my wealthier retiree friends just introduced me to her brand new Chanel purse (don't know model name) but it was black and quilted, a classic Chanel look shoulder bag...she dropped over 4K on it and all I could think was I was gonna get sick -- honestly, I just found it extremely unattractive (apologies to Chanel lovers) and immediately pictured what all I could purchase for that $$$$! Of course I told her that it looks lovely on her (it does, she's petite and a St. John fashion junkie). And she already knew it's not my style -- she DID admire my simple gray Rogue Tote with its Marc Jacobs blingy purse charm, which SHE would never wear, lol!
It's fun to have friends with a variety of tastes!
But yeah, my Coach addiction is enough for now!

We must be twins hahaha; I had one friend who dragged me to Chanel while she went window shopping...over $2k for a canvas bag! Sorry but no thanks. Her bags do look great on her though, since she's also much smaller than I am. Then next I was stunned in Burberry while some $1700 was dropped on a trench coat; I admire people who can buy expensive things, but own much less crap than I do though! Those items are just not practical for my lifestyle.
Yup, sometimes it's a challenge to not be judgmental, but as they say "don't be a hater"! And like you said these items look great on our friends ... it's THEIR money! And you're right, those same people do own lots less...the irony, huh?

I'm sure there are secrets to eBay that I don't know, but in general, it comes down to
- Really good and clear photos - this matters
- A description listing and then product listing that has the key words that people look for. Color, bag name, bag number, etc. Be very clear about the condition of the bag.

Mine was marked as Shipped on Friday, but it hasn't actually even been received by UPS yet. I know it hasn't been long, but I'm sooo impatient. LOL
I'm already imagining smelling that beautiful Butterscotch leather. And using my Oxblood Satchel's crossbody strap on it instead of the included shoulder straps.
