So many questions re: wear and tear of 19 lambskin. I understand it as I was skeptical as well. So far my 19 is holding up well. If I ever to get a lighter color, I will stick with the small size otherwise dark colors in bigger sizes .I bumped my 19 into a shopping cart and it was absolutely fine. I have nicked it a few times with my nails and I was able to buff it out with my finger tips. Enjoy your 19s! It is such a chic bag!

I now have had my black lambskin for 6 months and started using it about 4 months ago - have not worn it as much as I would have liked due to co-vid still high in my state. However, I find it is more durable then I thought. I go in and out of the back pocket often and no scratches from my Ring or nails. I did buy an organizer and a base shaper from MBOUTIQUE to keep it structured. Plus I really like the look of the lambskin on the 19 - on reseller sites the goatskin looks like it is much more wrinkled over time. My Lambskin has no winkles at all and I love the sheen it has.
This is the bag insert/organizer that I got for my Chanel 19. It is technically a bag organizer but it serves as a bag shaper as well due to the thickness of the material, I chose the 2mm to give the bag structure. I don’t use a base shaper. When stored, I use a bag pillow as well.

I had the pillow custome made from a local seller here in Singapore where I am based.
This my second 19 bag. I have a small black in goatskin from 20P I think. I was able to snag this bag recently from the boutique and the lambskin is so luscious, but also feels so delicate. Will probably use this bag as an occasion bag and continue to use the black goatskin as my work horse.
I know goatskin isn’t the popular leather choice for the 19, but I love goatskin. So wondering if Chanel will be releasing any goatskin 19 in future seasons.

Sharing my second 19 bag in tweed! I think it will be a good complement to my other Chanel 19 in black lambskin.
It’s beautiful! I love the 19 in tweed out of all the Chanel bags. May I ask Was it the same / less / more $$ than a lambskin 19?
Thank you! I believe my lambskin was $6300 before tax and the tweed was $5500 before tax, so a $800 difference for the large 19.
