Another absolutely stunning Lilac. Oh, how I wish this came in the First ... and was available in Europe :girlsigh:

Many congrats, umimaddicted! And I'm so glad to hear your DH is feeling better.

Thank you so much Livia1. I would email Balenicaga online and see if they are going to offer them online. I would think they would in time because I can't imagine they would not.

Hi everyone! I have been missing the forum all summer because my DH has been very sick. Thankfully we think he is on the mend finally. He had a super bug from a minor surgery and they finally found the right antibody. Whew!

wow, this is another stunning lilac Le bag. you look gorgeous with this baby. im happy for you that they found the right antibody for your dh.

Thank you Delmilano for the kind words. He hasn't ever been sick so this was tough on him but about as tough on me watching him be sick. I am amazed that I checked the forum the day I did and was able to get this beauty. Still in awe at it. (Hoping it doesn't fade at all!) :sweatdrop:

umimaddicted - I'd been wondering where you'd been... I'm so sorry to hear your DH had been so ill for so long, how worrying... I'm so glad to learn he's better.

And, you're back with a bang - and a great new bag! Why is it that every bag looks so great on you? Every time I see your mod pics, I have to get whatever bag you're carrying

Wow, MichK, Thank you! You are so sweet! I always think the same with your pics, you are a stunning model in Bbags.:ghi5:

It is good to be back!! I have missed everyone but will still be half here and half not for a while until he is absolutely healed. At least we know what we are fighting now and that is half the battle. Thank God for our 20 year old son who has been such a blessing to help out. He lost his job around the same time my hubby got sick and it was a blessing actually.

Gosh, I can't believe how many great bags are out this season and have bought the ones that I was on the lists for so I need to get picks of those up to share with all.

This Lilac, was not one I was listed for obviously but it is my favorite bag now. It was such a fluk that I checked the forum that one day that gave me the heads up to call. I bought it from (Ricky-SA) from NM in San Diego. What a sweetie. He had a bag that was on hold and said that there were two more though in the warehouse. I received it 3 days later. Amazingggggg............:yahoo:

I owe it all to Marla523!!! I read her thread and just about passed out seeing her pics..... I really hope all who wants this color and style can get one. It is crummy that our friends in Europe can't get them there. That is depressing.

MichK, ( I love your latest pics in Pictures only!!) I wish I had a use for an envelope bag as it looks amazing on you and I love your sanguine GSH one!!

Congratulations umimaddicted! You are right - your first photo is very true to color. I was trying to say the same thing: that the flash washes it out. I'm glad you posted modeling shots and day light shots since my week has been a bit crazy (and rainy earlier this week).

Isn't it just the perfect clear tone of lilac? No yellow or grey = just lavender.

Beauxgoris, Thanks for the photos! I almost missed this thread....09 Lilac is very beautiful and close to 06 ! I wont be able to get my hands on the beauty since I am in Japan(ToT) Anyway, Thanks again for beautiful photos and I adore your Lilac MU:cloud9:

Thank you for the comparison shots. She is a beauty! Do you plan to do any pre care on her? Such as apple guard or any product, really. I am asking because I ordered one and will be here tomorrow. I am concerned about fading and color transfer. Thanks!!

^^I'm not sure yet. I have yet to use her - busy this week and now it's raining like crazy outside so she's NOT going out. Maybe the rain guard by Apple. What about other Lilac owners? Are you going to pre-treat your bags or leave them as is? So torn!

Happy to hear he is making his way back to 100%!

Your bag is lovely. Makes me want it even more. And now that you report how nicely the leather will break in...again, I want it even more.

Great mod shots.

Hi everyone! I have been missing the forum all summer because my DH has been very sick. Thankfully we think he is on the mend finally. He had a super bug from a minor surgery and they finally found the right antibody. Whew! Therefore, I have been sooo busy and haven't done any jabbering on the forum, just checking out the scoop once and a while. I did though thankfully, check the forum last week and saw that NM had the lilac city bag. Ooo Lala!! I went to my phone tree for SA's and got one from the warehouse. I received it last Friday but finally got a chance to take pics for anyone that is still on the fence with the color. I think it is an amazing lavender. It is much less muted than the 06 lilac and the leather is absolutely amazing in that it is going to break in perfectly. I am truly thankful that I got it. Here is some different shots with different lighting. It is a very fresh lilac, just like the lilac bushes when they first pop in the spring. You can almost smell the aroma......:p The first pic is the closet to the actual shade. The color seems to get muted with the flash on the last two pics.
