My very best wishes to everyone for the New Year to all SOTD regulars, occasional posters and newcomers alike  .

The SOTD 2021 thread is now open and ready for business:

The new theme commences tomorrow (3 Jan - whenever your time zone gets there) but there's no reason why you can't post earlier if you want.

Oh, thank you very kindly!

Haha! Thanks so very much! My Victorian mourning jewelry holds a special place in my collex

Thank you so much! And, I only wish I could be as organized about my jewelry as I am about my scarves!

Just adore this CW, and totally agree that it’s marvelous with jeans... Now you’ve gotten me to start hunting for this CW!

Thank you so much! And, I must agree that my fav pairing is that bracelet and BdG Shadow: a match made in heaven!

Dear friends, apologies that most of my comments on the last post somehow got embedded into the last remark. You must “click to expand” to read them.

No worries- I often have to go fish mine back out... and thank you! :hugs:

One of the ultimate Hermès jewelry-themed scarves is Cavaliers d’Or, created to accompany the “ From the Land of the Scythians” exhibition at The Met in 1975 which featured a number of jewelry pieces on loan from L’Hermitage in Saint Petersburg, Russia. A number of jewelry repro pieces were issued by The Met, which I immediately purchased. At the time, I was a jewelry addict, but had no interest in scarves. The torque necklace and various pins are placed on the scarf in this pic. You must look carefully to distinguish them.

This week is an exception to me having a scarf on Friday since I have the day off tomorrow. However, I am going with friends to dinner now View attachment 4664656 View attachment 4664657 so I decided to wear my Dallet cat scarf. I actually bought it to have it displayed on the wall but never got around to put it up. Paired it with my Farandole and also wearing my H watch.
Utterly PURR-fect bow! It’s just beautiful on you.

Ideal for this Valentine’s season

I'm on overnight duty while this virus scare lasts . Felt the need for something magical to perk me up.

...those bunnies are definitely perky!

Yesterday — Mythes et Metamorphoses. No scarf rings since I was worried it would come off when riding.
of course your riding helmet is red! Great visibility to pick you out of a crowd (hopefully not out of the dirt) :hs:

I'm afraid it's been Zenobie CSGM all week long again....

Today I was going to change up my look to Tyger Tyger CSGM worn with the little H Tourbillon necklace/bracelet doohickey...So I put it all on, snapped my pic and my mom (who came over for my day off to go shopping) rang the bell.

As soon as I poked my head out the door, I quickly revised my look to this (again)...a warm neck being my sole priority! ( I promise the necklace is still on though so it still counts!)

You wear all that fabric so effortlessly. Stay cozy!

View attachment 4664879 Great week to try something with jewelry found following DM’s passing. Amazone gav with pearls flying!
The really hilarious part—if I recall correctly—this “necklace” doubled as a belt when I was much, much, much younger.
Seriously, I agree, what was Puxatawney Phil thinking?
Oh, my - how gorgeous :hbeat:

SOTD...Les Jeux d'Hermes.
I just love the distinctive bold colors

The celluloid flower, flamingo earrings and chess piece?!!! Dying! :faint:
So many perfectly paired: the Zuni earrings look like they were made for that scarf.

This is so lovely tied and so pretty together with your necklace and watch, Nahreen!
Thank you dear Croisette.
very nicely done! looks lovely!
Thank you so much Jbixxybeetle.
Beautiful! I love that Dallet scarf!
Thank you Bunnycat. It is meant to be displayed but have not gotten around to buying those Hermes wall fittings. Dallet is such a talented painter. So happy I got to see the exhibition at FSH in Paris a few years ago.

Thank you dear fifi. Your beautiful bows inspired me. I need to learn a few more ways to tie the scarves. You have such a beautiful collection of scarves and jewelry to match. Thank you for sharing with us.
