Adorbs!!! It's so perfect!

Inspired by all the cats - my contribution is Dallet's Jungle Love. (From deep inside my archives!)

Gorgeous Holsby!

Thanks so much everyone for your sweet comments on the Paris pic. It was a lovely trip. Here's one more, actually on theme. Tyger Tyger with my Aunt at one of my favorite restaurants.

You look like you've had a fantastic time Pirula! Did some orange bags make their way to you????

And here is my big cat! I really love the colours and the slightly metallic effect that makes this leopard look shimmery. View attachment 3855450

Love!!!

I only have one Dallet scarf, and I love it very much

Can't resist posting the poem by William Blake that inspired this design. I have to admit though, as much as I like Alice Shirley and this shawl, I don't think she captured the tiger envisioned in Blake's poem.

Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

In what distant deeps or skies.
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand, dare seize the fire?

And what shoulder, & what art,
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand? & what dread feet?

What the hammer? what the chain,
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp,
Dare its deadly terrors clasp!

When the stars threw down their spears
And water'd heaven with their tears:
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the Lamb make thee?

Tyger Tyger burning bright,
In the forests of the night:
What immortal hand or eye,
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
