I have not spent much time playing with my knots yet, but I did quickly simplify from a bow to this kind of knot. It's just easy and utilitarian.

I also pulled the drawstring out of my veg tanned bags to work the leather a bit and make them softer. It helped a lot!

Hello!

Actually ever since I managed to tie my bag this way (http://forum.purseblog.com/showpost.php?p=28303810&postcount=4467), the bucket bag is EXCELLENT for travel. It can now be closed very tightly with minimal hassle (you slide the knot up and down only) while obvioulsy the bag is very light!

Do you happen to have a link how to tie that step by step? I want to wear my new bucket out, but i don't have a good way of tying it.
