Mulberry Price reference?

Good morning ladies,

There have been several conversations on here regarding the price increases for M bags. I'm quite new to Mulberry so I don't know much about the previous prices aside from @ one point a bayswater was £495 😱. So I'm just wondering if you wouldn't mind telling me the price of your M ( what you paid) & the RRP of the time & year of purchase. Sorry if I'm being nosy. I thought this would be an interesting topic and give us a complete view of how M prices have skyrocketed.

I'll start with a few of mine:

When I started buying most bags were around £595 and I had never heard of the outlets. I got my east west bays in 2008 and just missed getting it before the price went up to £495!!!

Alexas started in 2010 and were £695 for regular and £795 for outsize

Oak leopard were £795 for regular and the regular in the plunge leather was £895..... I remember being horrified at the prices!!!!! But to put it in context I haven't had a pay rise since 2007 and living costs food heating etc have risen massively so no wonder I can't afford mulberry any more

Comparing to now £595 seems to be £895...... £500 to £600 quid will only get you a small clutch type bag

I think Ledbury went up to £395 before it was discontinued but given the sbs is just a Ledbury with a strap you can see the dramatic price increase there too....I wish I had a time machine to go back to 2007 and 2008 and stock up at the outlets where there were really bargain reductions to be had...ah the good old days

It would probably be even more frightening to see how the prices of smaller items and scarves have increased!!!!
