I think you're safe buying it, Coach was playing around with a lot of new leather colors and textures for the Legacy and 65th Anniversary bags, so an odd color isn't as much of a red flag as it would be with other styles. And if it IS fake, it's the best fake I've seen from that time period. :biggrin:

sorry pics are so dark
it's brown it says no. 12947 on the inside leather tag and on the hanging tag
the hanging tag has 9000015054 then a barcode then 657326170933 on the bottom of the barcode
comes with a crossbody strap gold hardware

Sorry, it's fake. That printed lining is a dead giveaway. Coach bags that are all or mostly Cs or Coach logos on the outside should never have any kind of C-pattern or logo lining.

You might try to find out if your mom was told it was real when she bought it. If she did, she got ripped off. AND selling fakes of any kind is a federal offense in the US.
