I have a few bags on my wishlist (a small black Lady Dior, the Gucci Ophidia small crossbody in blue, and another YSL Sac de Jour) but I am always seeking feedback! Trying to create a more timeless selection over time.

Sales started in Canada this week, very limited stock. However my family was lucky to find some goodies including a tweed jacket. I know this has started a few years ago where sales item doesn’t come with any packaging other than tissue paper and paper bag. However this is a bit bothering. After discount, their RTW still have a high price tag.
Totally get sales item is sell in a discount. However in the view of economic, the reason for sales is due to low demand and sales price is the fair market value. So it shouldn’t be anything less value of full price. At even 40% off, these inventory could be above breakeven or in profit. It is not really us who is blessed to find sale items but the store to sell it with no write off. In addition, the package such as hanger or garment bag should be low in cost.
I guessed some may say, if you want full service and package then buy it in full price. But I think the price is increasing for all brands, the service is getting lower. What do you think?

I am currently looking for mesh booties from the Spring/Summer 2018 collection.
Now I have seen pictures of 2 different versions of the boots. The type of mesh is different. Does anyone know if there were really 2 versions of the boots?

I just purchased this goregous python bag. I never owned a complete snakeskin bag before. Is there anyone that can give me tips on how to keep the scales nice? Is it OK to keep silica packets in the bag or will that prevent moisture from hydrating the skin? I want to keep this bag in prestine condition for as long as possible! Lol. Thank you!

Purchased my first pair of Ferragamo boots with leather soles. Do you go to the cobbler and add protective soles prior to wearing? Or do you get it resoled when the existing soles are worn out? TIA!

My husband, myself, and our two littles will be visiting Rome in Summer 2024! The fact it’s been there since 1938, they have all types of RTW including baby wear, I’m so excited I could SCREAM!!

It will be my first but not my last trip to Rome! We typically travel extensively in Mexico, Central, and South America. This will be my kid’s second time crossing the pond (London is the first) and we couldn’t be more excited!

I just bought my first new Dior in a boutique! (My others are preloved with much forum guidance from averagejoe’s comments) Buckhead boutique provided an exciting and fun experience. It is the medium DiorTravel Nomad pouch in blue Dior oblique jacquard. I added a simple blue leather strap and it is the perfect bag for quick errands and can be packed into a larger bag for travel. My silly question is, which one of these organizers matches the interior best. Eggshell? It does seem to be a bit more gray than cream. I’m sure any of them would be fine; it is just my nature to want it to match. Appreciate your thoughts and experiences.

I received my Alexander McQueen sprint runner trainers today and one of them is creased quite badly. Well, I think it’s quite badly anyway. I know they will probably crease anyway, but I’m not sure if they will crease in the place where this crease already is And I’m finding it’s really bothering me As they were £595 and I just think they should be in good condition when they come out of the box, or is that just me and I’m being too fussy?

Would these creases bother you?

Would you keep them or return to exchange for another pair?

I have a black medium classic in silver hardware, but i realize I wanted to gold hardware. I decided to buy the same bag but in gold hardware, do you think it’s too much? Or what is your opinion about it

I am looking at some vintage (?) Jimmy Choo bags that were produced in croc/alligator embossed leather as well as authentic croc/alligator. Is the lining a good indicator of embossed vs authentic? With the older Balenciaga moto bags, the leather or watered silk linings indicated authentic exotic leather vs traditional black textile lining in the rest of the bags. Does this hold true for Jimmy Choo as well?
One of the bags I am looking at has a leather lining instead of the typical microfiber. The other looks pretty good but has the microfiber lining. Is it possible that they produced exotics with microfiber lining?

I received my bracelet after re-sizing. It was shipped in a travel pouch and when I opened it I noticed it wasn’t secure and was all bunched up and tangle. It is a guilloche / diamond bracelet which can scratch really easily. Any advice? Should I try to look closer to find scratches and try to get it replaced? I was very disappointed to find it shipped that way. Thanks

My Jumbo Julian in the color military arrived. The color is beautiful. The leather is luscious. It will fit up to a 15 inch laptop. It’s so roomy and great for a personal carry on. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I've heard rumors that getting a non-quota bag may delay quota bag offers sometimes because of the shortage of many bags in general and that the SA may feel that your wishlist was somewhat fulfilled. And are there limits to how many non-quota bags can be purchased a year?

Hi, I was examining my van cleef yellow gold vintage diamond earrings when I noticed that the clip hinge at the back is a darker shade than the rest of my earrings. It’s hard to capture it on camera. But, it’s noticeable with the naked eye. I’ve inserted pictures of the earrings with the darkened parts circled. The darkened parts look like the yellow gold has rubbed off or the black colour has transferred from the box onto the corners of the earrings. On the left earring especially, it looks like the yellow gold has been chipping off.

This pair of earrings are relatively new. I have never showered or swam with them on. I’ve compared this pair of yellow gold earrings with my rose gold ones and this yellow gold pair definitely looks darker at the back. I’m worried that I’ve gotten a faulty pair. My other pairs of non branded yellow gold earrings don’t tarnish or chip like this. Please let me know what you think.

Hello! I just bought my first Dior bag (Micro lady D joy) and I am so excited! However, I am so scared to use it since it’s white lambskin. I’ll wear it only with light clothing but is there a safe leather cleaner/conditioner/protectant I can use? I am afraid to put anything on it because I am worried that the white color might change/become yellow/green. Thank you!
