Reissue 227 and 225 poll? Which to choose?

For background, I have few vintage chanel pieces:
Black jumbo with vertical quilting and large cc from 90s
Ivory medium classic flap from 2005
Black medium classi flap from 2005 (that I am thinking of selling as it has seen better days)
Pink/Coral mademoiselle full flap in medium large
Multicolored mosaic mini flap from 2015
Last but not the least Black medium reissue from 80s 0 series with cc clasp- it’s beautiful but thinking of letting it go for one of the above reissue.
Please share your thoughts as I am not even sure if I should let go of vintage reissue. Is 227 very big esp in colour?

I like them all but choosing for a different person is very difficult. You sound like you have a nice collection. Is this a case of change for changes sake? I stopped at 5 Chanel when I realised I wasn't suing them very much. My favourite and most used is a black small 1980s flap ghw.
I would never let a black reissue go for the ones posted, certainly the sequins would off the table, I think they have limited use.
Sequins are delicate, finish on metallics is unproven and black hw is also worrisome (I have all, but not Chanel). Personally, I would keep the black reissue and use it.

Thank you for that! The old reissue can only be worn on shoulders or even as a top handle bag. It cannot be used as crossbody and neither can 227s above! I wanted some colour. Ideally would have either 225 or 226 in blue and red. You present a very good argument of not changing anything!
Thank you. The red is patent caviar. I am inclined to agreeing with you. After posting here and the polls, I am reaching a similar conclusion too!
I would go with the sequin if you don‘t already have that ‘special’ (non-leather) Chanel, but I wouldn’t sell the 0 series for it though. So I guess I would not change anything in your current collection just yet.
Ahhhh.....don't sell your black medium reissue from 80s. It's a classic.
From purely aesthetics and how I use bags. I prefer the red with black hardware. I use a lot of red and pink bags from different brands. They are great accent pieces.
Sequins, I'd never even think it. They are basically painted plastic bits threaded together. If you want a statement bag, go for gold or silver leather!

My Chanel mini is a statement bag! So that covers the sequins…Ahhhh.....don't sell your black medium reissue from 80s. It's a classic.
