I was a holdout for so long on the Chanel dad sandals (I thought they were too trendy etc) but, four years later, they have really grown on me and I'm thinking of getting a pair - I like the idea of comfy walking sandals that also look chic! However, given how expensive these sandals are, I'm wondering if they are still in style for summer 2023 or if they are on their way out?

I have had the GUCCI HORSEBIT 1955 SMALL SHOULDER BAG for less than 2 months, and the bag is creasing a lot. This a rigid bag, so given the natural movement of my arms when wearing it crossbody it creases in that area.

How can I fix it please ? I'm utterly disappointed as it has been less than 2 months, and would have returned it if it wasn't because I bought it abroad.
Otherwise I love this bag. Is there any hack to help keep that area straight ?

Hello Everyone! Looking to gift myself a gift, and would love to know your thoughts. Help me to decide if I should go with yellow gold or white? I think I like the yellow gold more but it might be too flashy… the white gold is more discreet but looks like it the finish is coming out after some time and needed to be played with rodium but I might be wrong. Another debate that I have is as much as I like the Panthere watch it looks too popular and I see it all the time. Whereas, the tank francaise is not a as popular or maybe I just don’t see it as much on people around and on social media.

I have insured all of my designer jewelries (bvlgari, cartier, vca) with Jewelers Mutual. I have only provided the original recipt and they said that's enough .(no appraisals)

Jm claim they replace like- kind w/ jewelers of my choice. Since name brand has significant premium, if I lose cartier love bracelet, can I replace it with cariten love bracelet?????? (Instead of some random gold bangle)

Has anyone actually made a claim, do I need an appraisal??? Or is original reciot from the store sufficient? Their description for the jewelries is little sad even after providing the original recipt. Can I rest assured that JM will take a good care of it in case of claim? Thanks

One of members here and I got offer same kind of leather Quota bag, we both bought in 2023 and both our stamp from 2021 .Which is 2 years ago.
Does that mean we get bag from old stock or only that leather and style made only that year?

I’ve just purchased this beauty and the time frame for delivery is 4-6 weeks
Has anyone had theirs delivered sooner very impatient bag lover here…

I see there are few threads about APC (Atelier de Production et de Creation) founded in Paris in 1987, and they are dispersed in various forums and hard-to-find depending on if the periods are used or not. Mods, please feel free to collapse this into an existing thread if appropriate!

Anyhow, this brand deserves its own thread! The Demi-Lune (half moon) and Grace bags are contemporary classics imho and I’ve been eyeing them for a long time. Finally pulled the trigger on a mini Geneve and am thrilled!

My collection was lacking a small neutral day-to-evening option and the Geneve in noisette (hazelnut) fits the bill perfectly - a touch more polished than the Demi-Lune and a bit more casual than the Grace. I can carry this crossbody with athleisure for a quick trip to the grocery store or dress it up on the shoulder for a night out.

First impressions: the leather is sturdy, actually quite stiff. Many have said that APC’s smooth leather is like box and is prone to scratches. I suspect it’s been coated because running my nails over it doesn’t do a thing…I think more pressure would be needed to create an actual scratch. The card that came with the bag says the leather will develop a patina and should be treated regularly so I will buff it with conditioner.

The color is gorgeous - a rich brown that skews reddish depending on the light. The stitching and edge coating is impeccable, but I will have to be careful when pulling the strap through the clamps on the top handle, and also when setting the bag down as it sits right on the edges at the bottom. It doesn’t carry a lot but just for going out with my phone, card case and lipstick, it’ll be perfect!

For reference, I’m 5’6”. Please share your APC bags here!

Hi all. I had some large white gold diamond inside out hoops my husband bought me a while ago and they’re just too big for daily wear which is what I wanted. So I bought some yesterday in yellow gold, 1.5” diameter with inside out diamonds. I think they’re good for jeans and a nice top but wanted to get your take?? Photo shows original ones and new ones.

Rebecca Minkoff sent the wrong guitar strap. I called and they answered on the second ring. The rep said she knew for a fact they had problems with mislabeling the black/ antique brass eyelet strap at the warehouse. She sent me a return label and reordered for me. She was very nice and the experience was pleasant.

My local store still has very low levels of inventory. Prior to the Pandemic, there were always non-Birkin and Kelly bags on display like Garden Party, Roulis and others. Now you go in, and the shelves are practically empty. I've been looking for a Garden Party for a few months now, and my SA says they haven't gotten many (I was offered one but passed because I didn't like the color). I was wondering if anyone had any idea what the levels of production were like, and when we might see more bags and other leather goods on the shelves.

Hello! I am relatively new to chanel (I only own a black caviar medium flap w/ghw) and I was looking for a lighter colored bag. I originally wanted the beige WOC, but I think its just a little too small for my purposes. My boutique had a small flap in beige clair & I took it home, but now am not sure about the color even though it is a classic. I mainly wear white, cream, gray, navy & black & have a more minimalistic style, but I love the look of a classic flap for weddings & events. I've always wanted a black lambskin mini with silver hardware also, but I think from my research here minis are hard to come by?

Which color combination would you do?

1. White artois PM + gray or black St Louis PM
2. black Artois PM + gray St Louis PM
3. black Artois PM + white St Louis PM

I currently own a black artois PM but I’m drawn to white and gray as well if I can get all 3 I would but I told myself I only need 2 goyard bags.

Which do you think would be better in white? Artois or St Louis? I feel like the St Louis in white is chef’s kiss like the perfect summer bag but since it’s white it should be more reinforced esp at the corners hence, the artois. But I’m also considering the strap length. I think the artois would be better for colder months since it would fit nicely over a jacket bc of the longer straps so maybe the artois should be in a dark color? This is the bag @Jeepgurl76 posted about in the shopping thread recently. I love it and the leather is fantastic, although not as nice as Carrie's wine Nikki! It's huge, but strangely when it's on your shoulder or just holding from the strap, it drapes beautifully and appears much smaller. Once placed down, it expands to see the full size. I wish I knew the name of this bag but I'm guessing if must have been a sample sale bag, so it could be one of a kind. It's not heavy at all because there's not a lot of hardware!! I already moved into it!

Which love ring would go best with these? The ones I have my eye on are these:
- Rose Gold with 1 diamond
- plain rose gold wedding band
- white gold classic
- white gold with 1 diamond

No Cartier nearby so any help will be appreciated .

Hello! Hubby and I are about to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. I have tons of pave eternity bands and larger diamond eternity bands. I am seriously considering having a square yellow diamond eternity band made to celebrate 10 years and surviving 2 kids Does anyone have one to share? My ering is hard to stack with regular diamond eternity bands. Round diamonds in particular Imo. It just doesn’t seem to flow. So I’m considering a princess or radiant cut eternity band in yellow gold with yellow diamonds for reference. Pic of ering for reference. I’ve attached a few different pics of my ring.
