I have always had a pleasant experience when visiting the Toronto boutique. I usually go first thing in the morning before the crowds get there. Weekdays are the best. If you live in Toronto and have no current plans on moving then I would think that being local would be an advantage for you. Regular shopping trips to the store would be realistically possible. So far, the store in the states cannot see your Canadian profile and vice versa. This may change in the future. I shop wherever is convenient for me so I have a healthy profile on both sides of the border. (I am also not waiting for any K/Bs FYI.) There are also certain items that have never reached the Canadian market because the stores never ordered them and vice versa. It sounds like you want a lifelong relationship so I say forget everything you have read and just shop freely buying what you love. Thinking too hard about the rules gives me a headache 🤕.

And now for some True Confessions… with a silly outcome:

I must shamefully admit that before this week, I had never had a salon manicure. Insane, I know! Pedicures, oddly yes… but manicure, no. It’s a combo of many reasons, the top ones being I bite my nails terribly, so it seemed a waste, and another is that I hate sitting still for any amount of time. Haircuts are torture to me!!

So anyway, I pick a place, get an appointment, and then the dreaded “pick your color.” Ah HA - I knew that was coming at least, from my prior pedi experience. I knew I wanted something fun, bright but light, not a proper bubblegum pink but maybe a toned down version. Well, it seems there is a break in the continuum from “why-even-bother-pink” to “wow-that’s-pink.” Gah.

So, I think I find a subtle bright color. As the manicurist starts applying it, she says, “oh… pretty!”

I glance down. “Yes, it’s nice.” Then I see it…. “Is it sparkly?!?!?” Uh, YEP. Sparkly, bubblegum pink, unicorn princess nails… sigh!

Well, my coworkers got a laugh, so I think you should too! Worn with La Vallee de Cristal, of course!!!


PS, they painted my cuticles too… no extra charge!!!! 🤣

I try to keep bags I really love but sometimes you realize later that you may have grown to love it or your needs in a bag change and it would have been perfect. Then you have to search for it once again on the resale market.
I have sold 6 bags this year to fund my newer ones. I hope I don’t regret it 😢

I was feeling the same way and did the same thing. It’s such a pretty color. I’m looking at the bandeau to go with it since I have the bracelet too… I think I will regret it if I exchange it for something else cause it’s a limited edition.. My CA said it’s for all season. It’s so pretty with the treated vachetta strap.

There was a time that my SA actually told me that my prespend was already enough and she’s just waiting for my specs to come in but I’d see a scarf I like or shirt, etc. so I kept buying 😅. I shop in different metiers and I usually ask for a B30.

I ordered yellow one and omg these are sold out everywhere. I wasn’t sure but love the structured look and functionality of this bag. Im done with neutrals and want to buy a yellow bag so let’s see how it goes 😁

The platform loafers are quite comfortable. Not heavy but need a bit of getting used to in terms of walking, at least for me. I’m very used to pumps and heels. I found these comfortable but a bit slippery on carpet.
However they seem to be for narrow feet. I have narrow feet and they fit me perfectly.
They were also true to size for me and I’m a 37.5

She usually comes over to say hello, or sits down with me and we chit chat about random things, especially if my SA is finishing up with another client. The SM usually helps out when the SAs are busy and they sort of just go around the floor assisting here and there, greeting different clients. One time when my SA was out on medical, the SM worked with us directly to help locate an item that needed to be transferred in, but we generally don't communicate with her directly. I had a SM who used to text or email me when something arrived at the store or invite me to events, but she's no longer there. Anyways, I would just say hi and chat with him next time you see him. Of course it's good to have a good relationship with the SM, but probably no need to send an email... at least I wouldn't. 🤷‍♀️

I agree. Randomly reaching out to the SM to say thanks is kind of weird and might be seen as desperate. Just always be pleasant in person and I’m sure you’ll be thought of fondly.

Do You wear it every day or is it more dressy with the diamonds?

I have been looking at both the Rosy Lip Enhancer and the lip oils. Does anyone have both and have a preference? I like the shinny finish and colours of the lip oil, but I am worried they are not as moisturizing as the Rosy Lip Enhancer.

So the fairly well substantiated rumor du jour is that Anna Wintour is working directly with Lauren Sanchéz on her "look" for the Met Gala, and that there is a fairly obvious reason for this.
(I say this as someone who actually likes Sanchéz, she seems smart and accomplished, and she can do whatever she wants to her own face and body - but dear God the things she wears.)

Hi! So, I’m not sure exactly how it was ordered but I’m pretty sure it came from Paris. However, my SA did tell me that the system for ordering changed late last year but that luckily my order could be retained as I had been waiting for so long. It sounded like ordering and also store transfers are more difficult now - I believe you may have to pay in advance.
