Official Christina Aguilera thread!

I will give it to Brit, she stays in shape. She's not stick thin, but she has a cute shape. Christina just said "eff it. Give me that root n' tooty, fresh n' fruity breakfast with a side of extra bacon no gym for me today!"

Okay, Brit looks so much better than Xtina. Xtina looks older and not so good looking.

I agree. Britney has some sun damage, but otherwise she looks pretty good to me. Her body/shape is killer. Hope I can look like that after two children lol.

X-Tina's frame is tiny, though. I always think back to when she, Madonna, and Britney performed at the VMA's several years back (when they kissed). Christina's frame looked so much smaller than Britney's... and Britney's frame is pretty small to begin with. She gains any amount of weight and boy does it show.

IMO, a lot of Christina looking older than her age is the 400 lbs of makeup lol.

Christina Aguilera proved she still has plenty of naked ambition as unveiled the cover for her new album, Lotus.

The pop star and current coach on The Voice revealed the new art work through her Twitter account on Friday.

The former Disney star puts her bare curves on show as she emerges from a Lotus flower, in keeping with the album title.

With her hair covering her chest and ethereal pose, the star seems to have taken inspiration from Botticelli's famous 1486 Renaissance painting, The Birth of Venus.

Discussing the album, the 31-year-old revealed on Twitter: 'Conceptually I didn’t target one particular sound/genre. I made music that felt good,'about the album.'

Addressing the album title, the singer said in the September Twitter chat that it represented strength.

'[It] represents an unbreakable flower that survives under the hardest conditions and still thrives,' she wrote.

As previously reported, Christina will be taking next season of The Voice off to focus on her music career.

Discussing the break Christina told E! Online,'In order to be the best coach I can be on that show it's a good idea to go out and be able to have the experience as an artist.'

She added:'Create new experiences for myself so that I can then come back to the show and share that much more.'

Aguilera said that The Voice's executive producer Mark Burnett 'understands that we're artists first', saying: 'In order to remain great coaches and to stay relevant, we have to go out and we have to still tour, see our fans one-on-one.'

'I have to feel creatively fulfilled in order for me to then do my job as a coach and be on that show.'

Aguilera also described her break from The Voice as bittersweet, adding that she will miss fellow coach Adam Levine despite their alleged feud last season.

'It's like we have definitely become brother and sister,' she said. 'We goof around and play around. I'm going to miss it.'
Lotus will be released November 19.
