Black City before & after pics (completely dry). The black leather was a bit greyish, and the leatherCPR, LMB's Ultimate cream, and LMB's Shine restore brought the black richness back.

NOW...she's a little bit dry, I have to condition her. These pictures don't even do her justice. :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

I have to take some better pictures because she almost looks French Blue to me! I know I've "de-valued" my B-bag by dyeing it, but I'd rather have a bag that I can carry with pride.

I've just treated my '06 Pale Rose with LMB products...

Well, I thought that my 7 month old pale rose city was looking a little bit dry, so I ordered some LMB products...I'm not too sure about the results. :shrugs: I suppose it looks more moisturised!

The problem is that now I've scrutinised my bag so closely, I'm getting obsessed with minor faults! :wtf: I used the balenciaga cleaner, followed by the moisturiser and pre-treatment, in addition to the 'for handles only' product...on the handles. So here are the pre- and post-treatment results, sorry about the dim lighting!

Brand new (7 months ago...):

Before...when I attempted to clean only moderately dirty handles myself with Oil of Olay wipes which left the leather dry, splotchy, misshaped and discolored... :Push:

And after a trip to LMB for restoration...:sweatdrop:

After 6 long weeks, I have finally received my lovely 05 Caramel Twiggy back from Lovin My Bag. I know that this has been a bit of a hot button issue in the forum. I just wanted to show off the great job that was done on my bag. While I didn't get the bag back as soon as I would've liked, I think she looks pretty darn good now, almost like new. So view for yourself.

Naturel GGH Brief with denim transfer on back.

Before: Located on the back left side. A smaller spot on the back right side. A large area surrounding the threads down the center back of the bag.

After: Used baby wipes and let dry. Repeated 3 times. Conditioned and sprayed. Still there, but as you can see it made a significant difference. One so that I feel if I wore it, no one would notice and/or if ever sold, could still get decent money out of.

Three more pics...one without and one with flash of after(not very good lighting, sorry) The last one of a close up of before working on it.

hi.. i got my bag a few week ago and the leather is a bit dry so i finally decided to use the Oroton Leather care on it, hoping to clean some dirt off it and moisturize the bag. The result is the dirty spots are still there but the leather had improve. It's a lot softer and the color is slightly darker...

Before and after treatment with Apple Leather Care.

After Apple Leather Care:

More representative of the after color... seems to have been punched up by the leather care, just a bit. It's greener in the sun, as you can see.

The leather is more soft and the color more saturated, but it's really not a huge difference for either. It does hang a bit differently which you can probably see in the photos--it's loaded with the same stuff in the same way for each. It didn't do anything noticeable for the veins, IMO. Biggest difference is that it's less shiny... it has a soft glow rather than the high shine it had before, which I prefer. I'm relieved that the impact isn't huge, I suppose, because I started feeling nervous after applying it that I'd regret it.

Overall  for apple care.

Just an FYI - ordered Orange TKO and used on handles of 05 Taupe Day.
The darkening seen originally on the underside of this handle was supposedly caused by being stored against metal by a prior owner..?? I have no clue, but the darkening was ONLY on the underneath side of the handles and did not necessarily look like the typical handle darkening caused by hand oils.
Any way... TKO and water (maybe 1 cap TKO to 6-7 caps water) applied to handle w/ a soft toothbrush. Scrub gently, let dry. I did this procedure several times with marked improvement. It did dry the leather slightly, but have now applied Apple Conditioner and the leather seems fine. Please note this bag is CHEVRE leather. And I was not bothered by the darkening on the handles, TBH, this was more just an experiment to see if the TKO would make any difference. Orange TKO is a cleaning product, so I do advise caution in use. The solution I used was very diluted, and I was not after perfection.

i just wanted to post some before and after pictures of my '08 evergreen GSH city so that people can see the differences on a bag with darker colored leather and the GSH, since i haven't seen any.

i used the LMB "Feel Soft" conditioner and the LMB "Pro-Treatment" rain and stain and oil protectant.

i put on 3 coats of moisturizer over 2 days, with a coat of the pro-treatment in between.

i might buy the applegarde spray to waterproof it again just because i don't trust creams for that kind of thing, and i'm really worried about something happening to my beloved bag.

i didn't use the 'for handles only' cream yet, but i'm gonna wait and see as it is a new bag.

the first two pictures are the AFTER photos, and the last one is the original bag, before moisturizing

Here are before and after pics of my 03 Lilac PH City.

When I first got her, her handles were really dark - and the corners were too.

I sent her off to LMB, where they did a miraculous job cleaning the handles and the corners! The handles and corners now match the bag perfectly, and the whole thing looks new again.
