Recently I got this lovely 06 truffle city.
It was in a fairly good condition but the leather was highly distressed and kind of dull looking.

First I conditioned with a "greasy" leather balm.
It made the bag softer and enhanced the leather a little bit.
You can see the difference between the conditioned (the bag itself and strap) and the unconditioned (the shoulder pad thingy).

Sorry for the bad quality but is was taken with my cell phone.

As I still wasn't completely satisfied I thought why not give it another try.
Today I treated it with a kind of leather shine/gloss and the result was just what I was hoping for.

Thank you so much. I am very satisfied now

So you should be!
I have recently got a truffle that's a bit sad...here are my before and after pics - but what was the leather shine/gloss you used? - it makes it look great!

Here are before and after comparison pics of my new-to-me '07 White GGH Brief. I purchased the Bal kit from LMB to help clean her up. First, I cleaned the entire bag. Next, I touched up the corner and worn spots with craft paint! I mixed white and parchment for the right color. Next, I applied For Handles Only to the handles and Miracle Shield to the rest of the bag. I left it over night, and then I applied the Shine Restore to the entire bag. It's hard to tell in the photos, but I think it looks much better!

I do not have "before" pics unfortunately.. I was so excited to ship my new faded black bag to be dyed that I completely spaced it. Anyhow, as this was a brand new clutch the only issue was that the 2008 black leather was more gray then black. So, imagine a very faded looking black...

So I sent the bag to Lovin' My Bags to get a dye job and the clutch came back better than I could have imagined. No dye residue, no dye odors, no dye wipe off. In fact, you can't even tell the clutch was dyed at all in person. It's better than new!!

Here are my after pics:

I recently got a 2004 Lilac Weekender in need of some tlc (I got her for a really great price!). The front zipper was broken, the bag was faded and not colored evenly, and then corners has little color on them anymore and really stood out. Hard to see the fading in pics.

Here are before and after pics of my 05 Rouge Theatre City and 07 Tomato City. I sent them to LMB to fix dark handles and also to fix a scratch on the right corner of the Rouge Theatre. Seriosluy, Barbara and Gary are like magicians!! My bags came back looking as good as new:smile: I couldn't be happier!

I'm sorry for the poor before pics, it was dark outside when I took them before sending them away so had to take pics in the bathroom...

First up is the Rouge Theatre which was the worst case, handles were really dark and it had a big scratch.

Today I met with a very sweet friend of mine. She brought her "new to her" anthracite gsh pom pom, it was really lovely but very dry and rather worn. Naturally I offered her to treat it and here is the result.

I've just bought a black City which I adore!
one little thing bugged me - just on the front, one side only, the unfinished edge was really quite grey whereas the other edges were all black. So I put some Fiebings black Edge Kote on and now it is perfect!! so pleased with myself :yahoo:
The before pic (the first pic) of the bag doesn't show how grey it was IRL but as you can see, there is one tassel that has a grey edge compared to the black edges of the others so I shall carefully do that as well!
