Zeno:The Zit Zapper! Miracle device??

I have the silver one. Honestly, it was a waste of money, IMO. I only get a zit now and then, and it doesn't really work much faster at clearing them up than a spot treatment. I am glad that others had good results though!

I have this, and have noticed that it helps if you catch the pimple early. I mostly get cystic pimples with the occasional superficial kind. I've observed that if I use it on a cystic one then it shortens the healing time to a few days rather than a week or two, as long as I catch it early. With the other kind it pretty much eliminates them the next day. Overall I'd recommend it.

I've had mixed results. Sometimes if I catch a spot early the Zeno works pretty good and it usually goes away in a day or two. Other times, even if I do use it once I see a blemish starting it doesn't do a thing. IDK, maybe it's just me. I've sort of given up on it.

Ok, Im still on my quest to get beautiful skin. I was in Walgreens the other day and took a walk down the facial product isle. I look up, and see this...cell phone looking device type thingy, I glanced down at the price that said "$129.00":faint:. For that much money at WALGREENS of all places, this thing better work miracles, so I picked up the box and read what it said. This little Zeno device claims to zap zits! I thought..."Yea, riiight". But, I was still curious, so I made a little note in my iPhone so I didnt forget the name. Of course, I forgot I made the note until today:p.

Anyway, I've been reading reviews on this thing for the past hour...it W-O-R-K-S! People are actually saying its worth the money! It WORKS!

It's not meant for blackheads or whiteheads, but it works on zits that you FEEL coming in, but they havent quite surfaced yet. Its not supposed to work on cystic acne, but many people say if you use it AS SOON as you feel the pimple, it works for cystic acne also.

Here are a few reviews that I found..

So, I guess I will be buying one of these(Im not sure when, though). If it works, then its worth the money, right? Also, if you buy it online, there is a 30-day money back guarantee. Im sure I'll have the pleasure(ugh) of getting a zit within that 30 days to test this baby out.

I suppose my whole reason for this thread is to ask the question:
Have any of you used this? What do you think?

I have it and it has helped get rid of pimples that I feel are about to surface (and like you mentioned if you feel a cyst coming up, it does help get rid of it quicker). The only thing that I don't like about Zeno, is that the cartilage tip is only good for 60 uses and then you have to buy a new one (which cost $25). But other than that, it's good.

I bought it when it first came out and sold it on ebay last week. It sort of seemed like a waste for me considering that I am a Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask girl and would turn to that before my Zeno. I honestly never figured out if it actually worked for me or if it was all mental.

I agree with ks9486 that replacing the cartridges was a pain. The good thing is that you can now buy the cartridges pretty at stores such as Target and CVS.

I've actually never FELT a zit coming, so this thing probably wouldn't work for me

LOL! I can tell when one is going to arrive soon. The skin gets tender and you can feel like..a little bump but it hasnt surfaced yet. Does that make sense?

Anyway, thanks for the responses so far! Keep them coming!

I've wondered it one of these would be worth it. There's another device that does something similar also on the market, but I can't recall the name offhand.

While I have certainly had that "feeling" that a pimple was about to emerge, there have been times when I literally woke up with a blemish. If you have a blemish that has already come to a head, will it still work?

It does still work, as long as its not cystic acne. It just works BETTER if you catch the zit before it emerges. Also, it take less "treatments" if you catch it before its full blown. A full blown zit can take up to 3(I think) treatments approx. 5 hours(again, I think lol) apart.

I only get that feeling when one of those hard pimples that never come to a head come...I guess a cystic pimple? I hardly ever get them (knock on wood) but when I do it's always in the same spot.

I hardly ever feel anything but a cystic pimple coming either, Mel, and yeah, I hardly ever get those.

Val, I think you can buy this at Sephora too - at least there you could return it if you're not happy with it. Not sure if you can return it at Walgreens...
