Hi BagManiacs!Ladies, I hope you do not mind me askingWhat's your opinion about Postina bags after almost a year of usage? I mean leather ones? How the leather holds up, does the form changes? Would you still advice to buy one to your best friend?
And if someone of you has a Small Postina, can the short handle be worn over the shoulder? Thanks a lot in advance!
I have a small Postina. You cannot wear her over the shoulder with the short strap. Regarding your other questions: Postina is not my most used bag as it is too small for my daily needs. The leather is called original silk and it is very pretty. It ages gracefully and the bag is still in shape. The hardware is very good, too. The shoulder strap is very thin - it is broader on the bigger models. Also, I always fear that the bag contents spill out as soon as I open the bag as the opening is very wide.
Would I recommend that bag to a friend? Yes. Would I buy it again? Yes. But I would go with the medium size. It fits more and some models have two compartments, so the opening is not as wide as on the small Postina. The shoulder strap is not so thin and the top handle is longer.

I have both bags. Regular Lexy and small Postina. I am doing a comparison shot tomorrow. Lexy is definitely my fave - opening is much more secure. I will say more about both bags when I took the pic.

I have the medium Postina and I carry it crossbody. The additional strap is long enough.It's really one of my favourite bags. The leather is gorgeous, both supple and thick.
The bag is beautifully made too.
I have to be careful when I open it, as Ludmilla pointed out .
But I love it.
I cannot say anything about the lexy, unfortunately I don't have one.

I've been surfing through the website and was surprised by the fact that some S models have only one compartment while others - two, the same as M. But definitely the length of the strap is even more important to me as I prefer to carry the bag on the shoulder.A very important moment, thank you! You can see that the opening of the Postina is much wider than Lexy's opening. The side straps of Lexy do have a good reason to be there.

If I were to decide between Lexy and Postina in S size, I would take Lexy anytime. It fits more and the things feel more secure inside. On the other hand I like the top handle of the Postina better. But, all in all Lexy wins.

The M size falls so much better than S. It always looks a bit awkward on me. Still kicking myself that I did go for S and not M.

You are welcome. I do like my Postina, too, but I have two Lexys and I use them much more.
Yes, the medium size is a lot bigger. Mine is in grainy leather. It's also called Daily PostinaYou look great together.
