I have just had a look at my Postina.
Postina is engraved on the back of the metal closure but I saw nothing on the shoulder clasp and there is no Zanellato stamp on the back of the bag.
My bag is about three years old.
Maybe things are different from one season to the other.
There are quite a lot of fakes though. I just saw one two days ago, it was carried by one of my friends' friend. She told me she had bought it in San Remo, knew it was fake and didn't care.
But don't panic! Mine is different from your friend and yet they are both genuine.:smile:

Thank you so much for replying! Just out of curiosity, what gave it away as a fake? Did it have the code on the inside as the real ones do? There’s a huge number of imitations here in Italy (by that I mean not branded but exactly the same style), but I’ve never seen a fake/replica with the actual Zanellato brand or logo so I’m really curious!

I didn't know her bag was a fake when I saw it. I didn't look inside of course.
The leather was not as thick as mine and she told me there was no brand name on it.
The owner said she didn't even know who Zanellato was...

Yes I’ve seen a lot of those, with no brand name on it...they sell them everywhere, especially in markets. Maybe I didn’t express myself properly but what I meant is I haven’t actually seen a counterfeit Zanellato with the brand, code and everything but fake (like the Louis Vuitton fakes you see around which are exact replicas and have brand, monogram, code, engravings etc etc). Imitations without the brand name on them are another story, soooo many [emoji21]

Anyway, I was being paranoid about my preloved bag so I went into the shop and they confirmed that my bag is original. They said that not every collection had the engraving under the closure or on the hardware. Plus bags prior to 2011 don’t even have the “timbro filatelico”, the really delicate engraving on one of the studs that looks like a postage stamp. They did say that every bag has the inside leather tag with the code though (and obviously the name plate on the inside).

I know this is an older post but I love love love the color you picked! Plus a red bag can go with almost anything!!

I really think Zanellato has such high quality and should get more recognition, and the designs are so nice. I saw the duo metropolitan in red pura leather in the shop window the other day and it’s to die for.

I think Zanellato is one of the best brands in the world. Quality is exceptional and designs never go out of fashion.:heart::heart:

Anyone has this bag? Is the canvas strap comfy and does it rubs on the clothes and creates piling? There is a cheaper alternative that only comes with the leather strap. Just wondering if I should pay more for the additional canvas strap.
