I just called Nordstrom on Michigan Ave and they said they've been getting alot of phone calls about the Rive Gauche bag and the SA told me it was totally untrue.
Yes, that is what another member told me after I made my first post. She said she called the Chicago store and was told that the mark down was an accident.
that was me! i called chicago and was told by the S/A that a bajillion calls had been made asking about the markdown on the RG but that happened due to a temporary glitch in the system and now prices were back up and did i still want to purchase the RG? (hiccup) nooooooooo, thanks!
however, thanks to laria (whom i contacted and let know about the system glitch) i managed to score the last RG in nordstroms (countrywide) for the sale price... she called on MY behalf to the MN store and they honored her price for her "friend" i.e. moi.
