I will get the outlet version for Christmas. A black one with golden hardware. The quality of the leather is fantastic! So soft and smooth.:cloud9::cloud9: But I also love the padlock design. I think I will get the store version for summer. Maybe in vanilla or in a bright colour like pink or turquoise. The leather quality of the outlet version with the padlock design would be perfect!

When I was at the outlet a few weeks ago they had some of the store verison... I LOVE IT! much better then the outlet version!

Why because I like the lock :)
If you check the outlet they may have some, I think it was 289-30% there might have been another mark down but honestly didnt pay much attention as I was coming home with my lindsey so I couldnt buy another bag anyway.

I do love the hamilton tho :)

I prefer the lock and key but that being said the outlet smaller one is a great size- bigger than the small and smaller than the large. I just got one in monogram and love it. The large lock ad key on leather is gorgeous though.

Love that one! I am looking for one of the outlet versions preferably in black ith gold or rose gold hw, did you see any of those when you were in Bicester? (I live in London so planning a trip there soon)

A bit OT, but it bugs me that you can't return an outlet bag and get your money back. STORE CREDIT ONLY. Ugh. I hate that.

I think the outlet bags are great, but I prefer the locks. :D

Does anyone know if the outlet vision has a longer shoulder strap than the boutique version? I was browsing the bay and thought I was seeing different measurements for the strap. Or maybe there are different outlet Hamilton sizes?

The difference between the department store MK's and the outlet Mk's is the size. I love the lock version but don't care for either size that's offered. I have a plate version in large from the outlet which fits me perfectly. I also happen to love the the buckle feature along side the plate. So, besides the hardware choices, there's also the size choices between department store and outlet.

The shoulder strap on my outlet E/W Hamilton is about 3" longer than on my N/S large Hamilton.
