Mine is a mono speedy 35 with a matching mono strap that was purchased in Los Angeles, year 1983 @ Bullock's ( which is now Macy's ) I the only tune up on the bag has been a zipper replacement. Outside of that, she is in wonderful shape.

My oldest is Speedy 30 from 1991. I actually purchased it from a co-worker whose GF wanted to sell it. Purchased for 200.00 along with a not so authentic wallet (since been tossed out). The Speedy was the real deal though, and I had her leather replaced several years ago. She still rockin that honey toned tan and is a travel companion at times.

My oldest LV bag was purchased 5 years ago in January 2005 while my Husband & I were on vacation in Los Angeles California !
We went to the Louis Vuitton Store on Rodeo and looked around, then the next day while I was at the spa, he went back to the store alone & surprised me with the MC Speedy in Black ! I have been obsessed with LV ever since!!!

I have a petite noe from 1995 that I carry all the time :) It's still gorgeous, even if it's beaten up and scuffed in a couple of places.

I just got it last year, but I really like the look and feel of older epi, so the wear didn't bother me at all. It's mostly where the bag folds to close it.
