I'm cross-posting my satisfaction with this 1955 horsebit bag.
I got it for half the price from consignment, but it was obviously worn once at most.
Brought it immediately to Gucci to order the button covers that were missing, and that provided me a disguised authentication 😇
The trap was that I almost left with a bamboo top handle 😁
Beautiful!!New to me, vintage1960s soft fruit Accornero silk square. I'm not sure if I can live up to its beauty but the colours really suit me so I'll try. I love the butterflies and the snails as well as the sweet fruit.

New chain worn as an Albert (watch chain)
Gucci stock pic shows how it's more normally worn, but the design actually comes from a pocket-watch chain design. I'm loving it!

Curious if anyone has any Gucci shoes in light colored suede and how they've fared in terms of upkeep?
I just got the jordaan in this color. It's beautiful and exactly the rose/beige color I was looking for. Unfortunately, they did not have this color or anything near it regular leather, so I am trying the suede. They're at the cobbler being water protected and rubber soled. I couldn't walk on carpet without slipping with the leather sole!!
I'm going to buy a suede brush and eraser to help with upkeep.... but just wondering if I should never wear these outside and just indoors? My area rarely rains, and I'm in a city, so I don't have worry about rain and mud. They're mostly going to be for work and social events.
