And now I’m back… getting new dooneys that I don’t have db75 I got a nylon weekender also on sale I’m thinking I want to Amtrak to Vegas for my birthday
Glad you are back and planning your next adventure.... including all important handbag
and SLGs.

Different styles and materials fit our needs for different activities and also
for different stages of our lives.... different ages, different responsibilities, and different
challenges.

I used to wear shoulder bags, but with arthritis to deal with, cross body
and shoulder bags no longer work for me. Also, ease of entry into a handbag, with one
hand has become more important. I love the Olivia, and have several, along similar style barrel or doctor's satchel cousins. But lately I'm finding them annoying to get into unless
the bag is on a flat surface. With the bag on my arm, one hand has to deal with the zipper
and limited top opening. Handbags that open wider seem easier for me now.
It was never a problem before.

So, go slow with new styles. Try one out, in real life use, before collecting your
rainbow of colors. The Olivia is a great style, and used to work very nicely for me.
But... things change. Luckly I probably have every style of handbag in my collection,
so I have options. It's just hard to part with favorites and treasures. And often bags
I haven't used in years are just perfect now. More reason just to keep them all.

A further thought on the Olivia.... check out the inside organization/pockets. I've noticed
that on some of the similar collections the pocket design can vary quite a bit....
and sometimes the zip pocket is small or the slip pockets are very shallow.
It's not easy to figure out sometimes, and I tend to assume the pockets will
all be 'standard Dooney setup'. But I'm finding with newer collections, that
is not always the case. May not matter to some, but I use the inside pockets
for specific items and too small or too shallow (or even pockets placed too low0
are frustrating.

Glad your new Dooney arrivals are all winners.
I love Florentine leather in navy. And the red zipper trim and contrast stitching on the
navy really set off the handbags. Often the navy Flo is very dark and almost
black, unless the lighting is good.

I don't own any DB45 items. Dooney tends to use the terms coated cotton and
coated canvas somewhat interchangeably, at least that is my impression.
DB 75 is a poly-vinyl coated cotton fabric according to the ILD website.

Glad your new Dooney arrivals are all winners. Meto too love everything. Awaiting the Florentine Pouchette to get here see howellit stays on my arm. It’s crazy how this stroke has changed my carry since I can’t use my left hand at all ans need a shoulder bag that’s smaller crossbody might make my balance off and then gets in the way of my cane.im not complaining because I’m still here and grateful to stil br hereunderthesun Herve. I haven’t been able to visit my collection as it’s upstairs ad I can not ….walk let alone do stirsyet.bu I’ll have a few accessible Florentine rptonsiniff and pet here on THRefirst floor.. oh my the sniffing and petting of tmyfirstrussell was obscene. lol my hubby was giving Mr the side eye fore Al.i don’t care. Ugh if I could drive or walki would have driven to the Aurora store for the dorsal daysale, best believe so as I am able to go I will be sneaking away yo yjedooney store

I love Florentine in teal and Bordeaux too! So many great colors. I've even learned
to like chestnut, Tmoro, and natural. Guess the only Flo color I really, really, really
don't like (so much so that I gave the 2 I owned away) is elephant.

But back to great Flo colors..... teal is beautiful. In natural light it is a rich
blue/green shade. In interior light or dark conditions, it can look either navy
or dark green. I find the Flo teal to be a really great neutral, and I've never seen
a bad teal.

Bordeaux Flo is also lovely.... but different years are different colors. Just like red wine
from different vintages or different grapes are often different shades. I prefer the Flo
Bordeaux that has more red or plum undertones. Some years, it just has too
much brown for me. But that's all a personal preference thing. It's taken me
decades to appreciate any shade of brown or tan. Dooney Florentine leather
helped get me to enjoy these shades. 😁
