I guess I'm the odd ball here - and proud to be so!:D My DH just happens to love fashion as much as I do. He has always been into fashion, even before we were married. This (thankfully!) includes his love for ladies fashion and accessories! He indulges my every whim. Always has. He totally "gets it" and gets just as excited as I do when it comes to bags, shoes, clothes, accessories - whatever. That's just the way he's made.:love:

I know he likes seeing me happy after a purchase and smiles at it. he also admire my knowledge of the fashion industry :D but he thinks I am crazy when I spend 1000 $ on a bag, and finds it disgusting.

He also thinks my Hermes costed 1000 $, by the way (I always filter the infor he gets so he does not think I went completely mad). As long as I don't go completely bankrupt, I guess he's OK with me working and buying what I like.

He would rather travel, and I always end up saying I do not have a budget for that, leaving him wondering where the money has gone (to my closet).

My boyfriend loves me bags. He loves buying me bags, I think if American society wasn't so judgemental he would wear a bag. He has an LV damier wallet and an LV damier belt - he treats them like gold, and is already planning his new wallet purchase lol. Right now we're broke, but he's constantly saying he wants to buy my a damier papillon when he gets money (I have no damier bags, his favorite line is damier) - it's just so cute, I'm so lucky he loves fashion.

Haha I'm in your boat! I just posted then saw this. I've been with my boyfriend for 4 and a half years - and he got ME into fashion! Haha - we're lucky!

My bf isn't a fashion-forward guy, which actually works in my favor in the case of purses. You see, he really doesn't *know* how many purses I have! He knows I have a black one (which is any one of three black ones) and a brown one which he can pick out pretty regularly, but beyond that it's all a blur. I don't own a ton of handbags anymore, but even if I did I don't think that bf would mind/differentiate between them!

What he does notice is my shoes, b/c I have like 15 pairs too many. He teases me about them, but I spend so much less on shoes than handbags! I'm always scoring excellent deals on shoes.

he thinks i spend too much, but he doesn't care one way or the other, since we each have our own monies to do whatever we want with.

the other day he asked me about how much i've spent on LV the past year and when I added it up he was in total shock...I said WOW that's a lot of damn money...do you know how much LV I could buy with that?! Then he realized that I was obsessed with LV.

That's so sweet! He sounds wonderful and I hope you get your Damier soon! You are a very fortunate lady!

He thinks I deserve nice things and that I can afford them - but he'll buy them for me too. And I've actually gotten him more into fashion, he was even checking out the wallets the last time we were at Gucci, but then bought me the scarf that I wanted, which I thought was very sweet. If anything he encourages me to buy nicer clothes and I encourage him to buy nicer furniture and suits.

He's actually encouraging me to get a medium Muse, its his favorite out of all the purses that we saw while in NYC.

Mine loves my handbag habits. He sometimes babies my speedy more than I do. He'll say, "Watch the Louie!!" or, "Be careful." It's very cute!

BF understands but doesn't like how much $ I spend on it. He holds my bags for me when I need him to and takes good care of them. He even jumped up once when a waiter almost spilled a glass of water on my Speedy. He goes to the outlets and buys me bags for my birthday and valentine's day. He's not afraid to hold it in public, he just doesn't like people suddenly talking to him about the bag (he's a very quiet kind of guy but not unsociable). He says it's like the bag is honey and the women/girls are bees.
