Omygosh!! Papertiger, that is the best display yet on this thread along with lanit! The way you both have referenced the items displayed in your picture to the scarf is just fabulous!

PT, the little bear is just so darling! Makes you want to hug him! And the dolls! Speechless!!!

gracekelly thank you. The bears name is Мишка Mishka (little Michael) after one of my ballet teachers. The Moscow Olympic games 1980 also had a bear mascot called Mishka - and every time anyone saw the bear they would exclaim Mishka .

There should be 3 1950s horses - I could only find 2

The matryoshka dolls (uncanny resenblance to the dolls in the scarf I thought :p) are just bog standard ones but then an art-student in St Petersburg painted those scenes of the city for my brother to give to me for some extra 'pocket-money'.

The Red horse is a complete cheat - he's a Swedish sugar horse

If you want to know any more about anything on the scarf or objects just ask, I have been known to bore people to sleep with my 'research' ;)

Lanit thank you, happy to enable you :graucho: PMd you with cw chart.

Papertiger: Please. You can never bore us. The horse is actually called a Dalarnahest if anyone wants to look for them in Sweden. They are however expensive. :p

My jaw drops to the floor everytime! All the pictures look amazing. Thank you for sharing.
