A dear friend kindly cross-stitched Sous les Orangers, a design by Dimitri Rybalchenko as a gift to me. (We could never seem to find this cw from resale? :shrugs:) I finally had it framed earlier this year. :hbeat:

@Meta That is absolutely stunning!! That is so generous of your friend to devote such time to such a beautiful gift!! May I ask the size of it? I've never cross-stitched but I wonder how one would template that out to follow - so many great scarves to choose from that you could do this with!!

Now that’s a friend!!
Yes, indeed. I'm very fortunate and grateful.:love:

Thank you :flowers: The size is about a gavroche - 16"/45cm. :)

Where did you get your frames? Did you buy normal frames and pin your scarfs or use double sided tape? I've started looking into how to frame scarves, and some say the glass needs to be floating to avoid moisture being trapped :shrugs:
I brought my scarves to a framer and it looks like they ended up taping the scarves. I don’t really wear my scarves or plan on taking them out of the frame so I’m fine with taping them. Good luck with your project!

Hello, I am hoping to revive this wonderful thread first by thanking all of your eye candies and inspirations.
I just sent my favorite 90cm scarf for professional framing after contemplating for a year. At first I wanted to frame one myself but finally decide I should leave it to the professionals. I cannot wait to share with you all when I get it back in a few weeks!
