This is for my dearest Vitamina, who helped me find this beauty which was not available in my country!! Thank you sooooo much!! You are a darling!! :hugs:

We had it framed in honour of my late horse who had the same golden colour as the pegasus in this scarf and whom I can very well imagine jumping the clouds as joyfully as ever now...

I finally got my framed CLF scarf back! It is not hung on the wall yet (propped on my love seat) and it is really dark now but I was so excited I had to share. Will post better pics when it is light and I have it hung.

This was the item that led to my love of H but I knew I would never wear it. Not a scarf wearer ... But it is so beautiful and perfectly matches my furniture and fireplace (which is done in purple-y slate) .

That looks awesome!!! I know this is an old post, but I couldn't help myself from commenting!

Sammy, my sweet friend, this is beautful! It actually brought tears to my eyes to read your post. What a touching, and full of love, piece of artwork in honor of your beloved horse. I feel so deeply honored to have played a small part. The frame is a perfect match and exactly what I am thinking about. Big hugs!!:hugs:

It was not just a small part, dearest Vitamina!! Can't thank you enough :hugs: - as this IS my darling horse and no "real" portrait could have shown her any better... Am very happy that you like the frame! The scarf is actually really flat - it looks a bit crushed in this photo but these are just the bookshelves on the other side that got mirrowed in the glass... ;)

What a truly beautiful and special story. A special ode to obviously a very special horsey friend

Incidentally, that's the colour I wanted too but couldn't find it.

Beautiful! And so sweet! May I know how it was framed? I have some scarves I want to frame but still can't find a good framer or a safe method. Is the scarf pinned or glued at all?

Thank you, dear! :flowers: - It is neither pinned nor glued but "just" pressed between glass, frame and back. They had a hard time with the slippery silk with the different side lengths but did a good job. You might want to check also with buffalogal (page 102). A wonderful job done there!!
