This was a promo scarf for the Amazone perfume in 1974 and it’s in fantastic condition. I don’t think it has ever been worn - till today!
Since I first saw this little darling, I have wanted it. Mr Cookie didn’t realize what it was or how old it was and tried to purchase it for me a few years ago - called the store in Chicago and completely confused the poor fellow who was trying to help him - bless

This reminds me of all the Anime movies I watched with my youngest son - Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Howl’s Moving Castle, Ponyo, and My Neighbor Totoro. It’s a lovely reminder of comfortable evenings with popcorn and dogs and my youngest. [emoji173]️

I need to share so badly: the last of my first grails popped up on a reseller site and I hit BIN so hard I almost broke the keyboard!
It is the Mythiques Phoenix Pareo in bleu lagoon.
Phoenix was one of the first silk scarves I bought, it means a lot to me (around that time my life changed a lot for better, I felt like Phoenix rising from ashes) and I always adored the pareo. I have first seen on Mai Tai's blog, but also featured here on tpf (one of you posted such beautiful action pics from the caymans, I think it was arabesques?)
