My views on this subject are strong: I have never bought a scarf because “it ties well.” Never. No matter what, I must love the design first.

Let’s hear your thoughts and see your favorite scarf design or collection of color or hey, whatever you are wearing!!

For those who celebrate this week, have a blessed vacation with family and friends.

This scarf is an example of a beautifully tying scarf and the colors make me fall to my knees, but the design, while interesting, could never get me to buy it. I love it on others though, but nope.

Sparkle - as much as I would like to start chit chatting about scarf purchasing decisions and dilemmas, I thought we were still on scarves featuring feathers this week?

sparkle, I thought it is the feather week or is my contribution wrong?

lovely, dreamy photos...:smile1:

What HEAVENLY photos, arabesques!! I have the exact same pareo, but I am not using mine for its intended purpose (as you have, and so chicly)...I wear mine as a light-weight shawl in the warmer months. It looks so lovely on you!

These pictures are pure arts and visually soothing for those of us freezing in NYC. I can literally draw warmth from your pics :sunshine:

Beautiful, Arabesques! It looks so peaceful and relaxing.

Thank you, CanuckBagLover, HfromT, Kitty S, and Florasun. It's hard to believe it's so cold back home, as I'm bare-armed and bare-legged every moment of the day here!

I've been wearing the lagoon pareo nonstop since the second day here. AND it fits the feathered theme. How lucky am I. Here it is in all the phoenix's magnificent glory. This design resonates so powerfully with me.

Pardon the ode to Mr. Dallet while I post the opposite of arabesques lovely exotic beach scene and get the holiday silks out. It is the only time I get to bring these beauties out to play.

Passage d' Moscou with my cozy shearling vest (no animals were harmed in its making). Loving that Chou chou knot!

This is a magnificent scarf, Lanit; I wish I'd been lucky enough to acquire it. . . Let it be a lesson for me. Get the scarves you love NOW. :p

Oh, I get it: marietouchet started a new trend last week, and sparkle decided to join: be a week ahead of everybody else :D

I guess I'm not the only one being completely lost!

I don't have beautiful birds, or gorgeous phoenixes, or floating feathers, but I have someone wearing feathers on his head.
(Les Mythologies des Hommes Rouges, cowboy knot, with 2 finger rings on the sides to keep the 2 tails in position)

To my European eyes, it seems appropriate to wear a scarf honoring native Americans when we're about to celebrate Thanksgiving. (In America. With Americans. Wow!)

Gorgeous! Sigh! With all those colors, it really seems to belong in the tropics!

Croisette, so lovely! We are sisters on Fetes du Roi Soleil. I have been looking for a Chocs en Plumes but have never seen this CW, which is the IDEAL one for me! :smile1: And I have never ever seen Chevalerie, which is now on my wish list. OH DEAR!
