Greetings-
I've wanted Mare Nostrum from the first time I saw it, and waited and waited for a grey colorway. I finally found it, and got it this summer. I've not worn it yet as I prefer to wait until the weather is a little cooler, but played with it tonight. Looking at my scarves, it's clear I like a busy pattern in muted tones. This one fits right in![GALLERY=media, 508]Mare Nostrum Center by raleighlaura posted Sep 11, 2016 at 10:28 PM[/GALLERY][GALLERY=media, 509]Mare Nostrum Scarf by raleighlaura posted Sep 11, 2016 at 10:29 PM[/GALLERY][GALLERY=media, 508]Mare Nostrum Center by raleighlaura posted Sep 11, 2016 at 10:28 PM[/GALLERY]
Congrats! This scarf reminds of the rock mosaics we saw at Lake Como, Italy.

Lovely on you Pourquipas! The first one I've seen! Congrats!

The colors of this scarf are beautiful!! It's lovely on you, Pourquoipas!! :girlsigh:

Thank you Lanit, I thought it was from a previous season, it's cheering me up when I wear it!
Thank you H Nuttynut, totally agree about the colours, very special mixed together.

Thank you, all!
Etoile de Mer, I will try and do a photo the next time I wear it. The weather is going to cooperate soon!
Scarf 1, I love mosaics, and those you saw in Italy are beautiful! Every time I see the Trophees de Venise (du Venise? My poor french. All those years and still no comprehension!) I think of the glittering gold mosaics in St. Mark's. I had a hard time pulling myself away from that church.
Pocketbook pub, emjani, thank you for the congrats :). It's been most fun sharing my excitement with you. I'm a very long time lurker and decided "what the heck, might as well share!" It's been fun!

It's here!!!! Vert Anis Paperoles!

Very nice Sickgrl13! I have a Cheval Surprise in a similar two tone green colorway, though the splatter pattern makes me think of those old kids shows where the contestants would get 'slimed' if they answered questions incorrectly:
