Wow, DD, aren't you clever? That is really great looking, what a great idea! When I first started reading your post I thought you were going to say that you covered the notebook with the scarf and I nearly had a heart attack!!

(laughter) Nononononono. A scarf would have to be really damaged before I'd consider that.

I was thinking, though, of doing another notebook as a collage by printing out copies of photos of scarves and covering it with those.

I lost out a couple of weeks ago on a Hola Flamenca in red/black...It was a plisse and gorgeous..So I am still on the lookout if anyone sees one please let me know...

Don't know if you are aware of this already but the tapis volant in cashmere and silk is available again from hermes (it's not the shawl but since they do the design again they might have the shawl in the boutiques??)
