Revealing two grails that found me this month....

First, Premiers Mains.....

This is so pretty IRL, I know you cannot see it well in these pics, but there is such a pretty light lavendar contrasting hem....its deelish!!! This is also remarkably soft, almost like a thicker version of the 70 cm!!!

Based on the frescoes at the Palace of Knossos on Crete.....
Oh, man, dont even get me started on Minoan culture...sigh....

Cobaltblu - I love those scarves! Aside from their beauty, your reason for buying them is similar to my own. I love history and I like how Hermes brings in references to other cultures and historical figures into many of their scarves - one of the reasons I love my vie du fleuve and gloire d'Alexandre so much. As much as I love ancient Egypt, I'm not so crazy about their Egyptian themed scarves, but I'd love to get printemps, premier mains and mare nostrum someday!

Kashmira, I did a US search for that one last week (for another member), none left in black. They do have a few orange and some white/black pochettes in this design.

I, for one, shall wait for prices to fall & boycott the sellers that seem to be charging astronomical prices

I'll be waiting for a while, too, as the prices are getting (and have been) insane. That said, as much as I try to go it alone, I'll post when looking for something special or truly HTF.

i agree about astronomical prices , I too am saving my bucks until prices go down

And in general, I find it more useful to whisper privately to buddies about the grails that I seek, because sellers lurk at these forums and are more than happy to sell one of theirs at astronomical prices when they sense a buyer
