My LV Cabas Piano. It was the first "nice" handbag I ever bought. It's the perfect size, lightweight, stylish, secure- I can't say enough about it. This picture is not of own my bag, it's an image from Google.

Also remember that when we are frail old dears, we are not gonna want to carry a huge bag on our shoulders, we may also have wrist problems so a grab bag wont be good. Most granny bags I have seen are multi pocket snap shut bags with a frame or small satchels and a light weight shopper tote. I you say my forever bag I havent purchased yet but for when Im old it will have to be practical.

Hey, what about getting a new bag for eternity? I got my Mom a kick-a## pair of pink croc pointy toe heels to wear, and including her crocs in case she needed to walk ;). She took her first designer bag with her, too. Only the best.

I see myself never getting tired of or wanting to sell my LV Damier Speedy 25. I haven't been paying attention to her lately because I've been using my newer bags more but she's definitely THE bag that I see myself using forever.

My Linea Pelle Black Leather Piper Speedy! :heart:
It has the perfect shape, is super light-weight, comfy shoulder straps, and the has the softest, most buttery leather ever! I have bought and sold many bags, but this baby is staying with me forever!

The only one I can see physically surviving that long is my Chloe double-pocket Edith. That leather is durable! Stylewise, my Celine Boogie has the most longevity. And I use it infrequently enough that it may still look good for a long time.

I hope most of my bags will stand at least the test of time, although of course some of them are 'out' of fashion at the moment (i.e. fendi spy, prada ombre). I think my McQueen Novak will last forever, both quality and style wise (coz I don't use it that much) and I also think my choc mulberry bayswater will last very long - great quality, and it isn't one of those 'it' bags. It's not avant garde design, but it's a nice bag that'll age greatly and only becomes better with time. Perhaps anyone disagrees? I'd like to know!
