Hi! Sorry to ask this here but I just got my first birkin and have questions regarding so many lines on it. I can’t find out how to start a forum as the one I found here was an old forum and was recommended to start a new one but I couldn’t find how to start. Pls help🙏🤗

My first Hermes item was a family heirloom belt. However, the first product I bought for myself was the "dans un jardin anglais" gavroche.

Not counting the ties and scarves I purchased as gifts, the first Hermes item I bought for myself was this 70cm scarf. I purchased it at Sèvres with my now husband on one of our first vacations together, over 12-13 years ago. I honestly don’t remember why or how I chose this particular print. I do remember seeing the Picotins on display and wondering why people would pay $2000 for such a small, plain-looking purse! (Funny because I paid more than that for one recently lol) It sat in the box for many years until recently when I wore it on a trip back to Paris!

That was actually the only purchase for many years until Dec 2019 (right before……) when I walked into the boutique with no profile and bought a noir Evelyne 29 and a zigzag strap…and down the orange chute I went!

My first Hermes item was an Oren sandals in Silk with a beautiful pattern that my dad bought for me when I was 15. After that, I saved some money, and when I was around 21, I bought my first Oran sandal in white leather.

A beautiful scarf I purchased for myself in my early twenties. I still have it and I still love it even though I am a silk scarf failure. I knew there was something special about Hermes, even as an uneducated young person.
