Your first designer handbag?

My first was when I was about 21 and I had my first real job. I think it was on the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving b/c we had gotten off early. It was at the height of Sex and the City so I ventured into Fendi on 5th and they had a shelf of sale baguettes. For less than $400 there was a brown suede baby baguette and a full size pink sequined one. I got the brown and while it's adorable and I loved it at the time (I had brown suede gucci loafers to match) I now wish I had the pink one instead.

Apart from a Marc by Marc Jacobs bag that came with Daisy (I think, my sis gave it to me), my first bag I bought was my Alexander Wang Rocco in black and rose gold hardware still in love with it!

I know some don't consider this a designer bag, but my first was a cute little pink Guess purse. My DH surprised me years ago one Christmas after he saw me looking at the pink bags in a Guess store in the mall. It was a pretty little purse, I loved it!

A Miu Miu bag in beautiful natural colored leather with yellow stitching. I forgot the name but I still have it and use it on occasion but its just such a heavy bag...

My first was a large satchel from Botkier and i get it on a great sale so it was cheap.
A fantastic bag and i use it so much that it have to rest for a couple of years now.

I started with Coach, Rebecca Minkoffs... and now I'm into Marc Jacob and Gucci being my most expensive. I wish I could afford Balenciaga or Chanel! That would be my ultimate!

My first designer handbag EVER was a Coach. I still have it where it is black with signature C's and beading at the top edge of the bag. I now have a thirst for all designer brands where my collection (not counting wallets) includes 2 YSL, 1 LV, 3 Gucci, 1 Prada, 2 Fendi, 3 Burberry, 1 Michael Kors, 6 Tory Burch, and dozens of Coach. I am aching for a Chloe and Chanel bag right now.

Ahhhhh.......Coach. It was all leather black doctors bag I bought at a Nordstrom
or Macy's ( can't remember ). I handed it down to my mother, who loved it as well.
