Your first designer handbag?

My first handbag was of Tyler Rodan, it's a leopard print hobo bag! I saw my cousin wearing it, and I fell in love! But I didn't seem to find it where I live and one year later, bam! I find it on Amazon in special

Mine was an 85th Anniversary Gucci that appeared in an episode of Ugly Betty. Up until that point I had pretty much bought 1 Fossil bag per year that I wore with everything. But I saw that bag on Ugly Betty, fell in love with it and decided to splurge. After that it opened a flood gate and I have tons of bags. I just can't resist a gorgeous bag. I never did, and still don't, like fancy clothes, but I feel like my bags *make* any outfit I wear. - And actually, I don't consider Fossil to be designer, but I am totally in love with them again for their Vintage Reissues that have been coming out since last year.

A small Burberry Nova Check tote. This was probably 8years ago. I wasn't really looking for anything designer. My co-worker had a large Burberry and I really liked the pattern. I carried that thing everyday for like a year. Haven't owned a Burberry since.

My first foray into the designer world were two contemporary bags (A black Sam bag and a cranberry colored hobo called Chloe--I think was the name) by Kate Spade. I still carry the Chloe routinely.

First designer bag was Dior Pearls in black leather. That bag I bought YEARS and YEARS ago is still one of my "go to" bags and still looks great. It also started my insatiable appetite for Dior! :shame:

Dior Saddle Bag in black. My parents (rightfully) refused to buy me one because I was 16 and "too young for expensive things" when they came out so I saved up. I felt like a princess when I left the Dior Boutique

LV speedy 30. I was 21 and on my first trip to Paris. I saved up all summer long and so happy with my souvenir. Every time I use it, I think about my trip and how much fun I had!

My first ever designer bag I got was a chocolate brown suede wristlet from Coach that I bought when I was 12. I saved up for it for about 6 months, and I still have it today!

In a land far far way and long ago, I was a crew kid.(Meaning I worked at McDonalds). I saved most of the year for a LV handbag. I rode the bus downtown to I Magnin and made my big girl purchase. Then when I left for college I was given a Gucci bag with all the trimming from my favorite Aunite. That was the early 80's and they are both still packed away. I don't use them but can't part with them either. I still love Gucci but 25 years and many premiere designer handbags later I have never wanted another Louis.
